It's not that they don't want to come to my area but rather because I was told that the process of getting them to come may take 1 to 2 months. BTW, I am from Ipoh. Anyway, I will followup closely with them. I won't call it bad service but disappointed because they couldn't solve the knocking noise that is always there. Maybe it can only be solve by the "specialist" from BERMAZ.

Hello, i've got my M3 1.6L in Dec 2011. There was a front knocking sound (heard on 2nd day), followed by rear knocking sound (heard on 30th day). I left my car at SC for (?) no of days days and.....will let you guys know how and what they fixed. To be confirmed 100% fixed i  need to test it again.

The knocking sound seems or found to be between two metals knocking each other and the front knocks appear after car driven for a while (ie - engine becomes hot) or after in hot sun where metal expands. Back sound is very constant esp on uneven roads.

Will also tell u what happened during these fixes.

My car now only around 600km and haven't send it to SC for servicing. This is my first Mazda and I got not experience with Mazda after sales, so I am feeling a bit worry where to send my car for 1st servicing.

just found a piece of rubber from my front right tire near the rim came off..still hanging.. and the rim on that area got dented. Would like to ask how much is it to change one new tire for Mazda 3 and how much is it for Mazda 3 original rims? came to a junction at night and went over an unavoidable pot hole. sigh...

Better change both tire instead of one pc for safety reason.

U can trade in with new tires ($50-$150 , depend on bunga avail)  new tires cost around $500 (17'').

why not u get a new set of rims...original rim cost a bomb at SC unless u get second hand one

actually changing the tire is more important. the dent on the rim are barely noticeable. my tire already got defect.. the rubber peeled off. still got trade in value ? any tire shop can do that ?

no knocking sound for u merk?

there was a 'pinging' sound initially from the boot area. I managed to locate that sound to the jack, wrap it with cloth and the sound is gone. Now there is a soft knocking from the back left area that occasionally can be heard when driving slow over uneven roads. The SC said they tighten the sparetire lug but the sound it still there, will probably look into it again soon when I have the time at another SC. Anyone out there has the same problem and managed to resolve it?

btw, I am driving the Hatchback CKD.

Last week send my car at glenmarie, complaint about my front absober leaking. When i want to collect my car, they said my front absober is ok. Then i call & show them, ”is this what u said ok?”. Im so mad with their service. Then they make me appointment next friday to change my front absober. Huh!!!

I'm getting my car soon. All this horror stories really tak shiok dengar man.

like i mentioned earlier, despite all this small grievances, it is a fun car, just enjoy your ride!

Bought mazda specialized HD CCD rear camera some time,just install yesterday by myself.
Bermaz Mazda free Caska DVD GPS does not include reversing camera av socket,and then call to mazda customer service,their ask me to call GS,they quote me a crazy price RM85 for reverse cam av socket.
I call Caska manufacturers ask for the av socket plus courier service only half price. 
I bought 2 av sockets,left 1 socket here ,who interested can pm me.
