those we bought from petronas petrol station, 10w-40 (syntium 800), not the 15w-50 one, 15w-50 is really useless...but 10w-40 is good..

ei...for me, i felt that Hx-7 give me larger and rougher engine sound.. laugh.gif how come our review is terbalik.. laugh.gif

unfortunately i found no HX7 specificaiton from internet, otherwise i can do the comparison
laugh.gif
*
not so sure...the SC use syntium 800 back when i service in SC
used 3 time...really bad....not yet 5k already noisy/give warning want to service already
thn i switch to hx7...very nice...7-8k still silent
but recently the hx7 not so nice already
dn't know why

this is a more complete page/seller
http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=2007548

for me..i think its more of a soundproof that improve NVH...better handling is on feeling
solid and lightweight....
that PBTE confirm won't work cuz its plug into the power socket not to engine
but this is sprayed onto the car...u can see and touch it

i knw what you trying to say..actually this campro already squeeze more money compared to old mistubishi engine from proton..

IAFM will get spoiled if u rev hard, and i already changed 2 times..

and now my car engine is started to leak oil...although is not serious...and i take care this cae very carefull, service at every service interval, no delay of servicing..

laugh.gif that's why i am thinking to change car last few months, but bcos of want to buy house, so don want change car already... doh.gif
*
started to leak oil??..from where?
mine service every 7k..no prob...just follow what the SC change
lots of ppl when leave SC just change what is necessary...thats why problem comes
but when car is getting old..problem tends to comes(wear and tear parts - known and unknown)....normal for newer car nowadays
my relative's kelisa also recently broke(reach lifespan)...7-8 years around 200k also...same as my dad's waja
forgot what problem..either GB or engine....they decided not to fix....change to honda CR-V
my dad's case is GB...but he decided to fix

QUOTE(wiind @ Nov 8 2011, 02:57 PM)
hey guys, does anyone of you (especially FL owner) ever encounter situation that the engine wont start after leaving it idle for 2-3 days?  hmm.gif  I just got into this yesterday, the engine just wont start no matter how many time I crank it, checked that battery is OK. Consulted a sifu and he tought me to open the fuel cap and engine oil's cap, let them 'breath' for a while, then crank the engine by turning key to Start position and hold it. My car finally starts after a moment.  rclxms.gif According to sifu, this has something to do with air pressure inside not enough to trigger the 'explosion'. Anyone has experience in this?
*
how many times did u crank be4 u call sifu?

yup thats shop name
i think same price bro..
plus other service such as adjust throttle paddle, clean throttle body, change pulley..  thumbup.gif
*
ic...thn i might try it soon as well..and see how
it's the ONLY shop that i went that the boss offer me such service as well...no other car shop offer this be4 in sabah

and i just service
price RM120(engine oil) + filter(RM15) + labour(RM15)
oil is liqui moly
when they pour in, just like what i read...it doesn't look like oil
it looks more like kopi-o...not clear/light through like shell/castrol/petronas
but dam...once he started that engine...the engine so quiet....the only thing i hear is the IAFM or timing belt tapping sound only
driving...engine noise of 95KM/H is now similar of previous 75~80KM/H noise...mean engine noise drops dramatically
and feels light...the car now easily do 100KM/H(on sabah road tongue.gif )
conclusion..for an oil that is imported from germany, it is worthed...and with engine oil price hiked twice already making shell and petronas now is RM10X or RM11X...add a few buck use this oil is TOTALLY WORTHED
next service gonna paired it with the lambda set...it should be much better
