Thanks bro for the advise. I found your liqui moly on below thread. Liq moly or Eneos better? or both same quality?

http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1764127
*
from the content...it's quiet the same..both contains molybdenum
but eneos higher grade than liqui moly..since liqui moly is SL only
eneos = japanese, liqui moly = germany
for me each got their own advantage...u choose yourself...haha
for me..am using liqui moly cuz of the MOS2 addictives inside...it really works
either way both are good oil....u can try liqui moly 1st thn next service go eneos thn u see for yourself which oil suits u thn u continue using that brand
theres nothing wrong with testing other brand each time

for those who got extra money...they would go for eneos or liqui moly since they contain molybdenum thn add revo addictives(contains ester and PAO)....you'll get best of both world

normal service still can DIY...but major service...need to know how to change those coolant and ATF as well
DIY is good...but tools aren't cheap...and need place too...the place i stay doesn't allow me to DIY..lol
DIY good cuz the engine oil..u can let it drain overnight...so its totally drained

minor service i know how to do lar... but major ones like change timing belt all those i need to send to workshop adi lor... drain engine oil overnight ? haven`t try before... cause i drain my engine oil for like 10-20mins only... cause in a hurry to somewhere after i change the engine oil... sad.gif
*
timing belt is major major service already
major service is changing gear oil, coolant, brake oil..etc oil

and usually those who DIY, they come home...drain it and leave it drain overnight until morning

If within budget, alwaz get top of model range for best specs @little bit xtra cost.
After all, it's not every day/year that one buys new car. True?

ps. Also me gotta kinda feeling such top of range vehicle (esp Proton?) fitted with better parts supplied by different vendors! Eg power windows had 2 suppliers...
Above told 2me by Proton staff when me wanna buy old ride. tongue.gif

pps. Good morning, everyone! A new day, a better day! rclxms.gif icon_rolleyes.gif

The semi sync one only API SL nia... Same as other Euro ones with some SM. Latest SN liao.
*
yes...got 2 suppliers
but 1 is old(problematic)...another 1 is new(problem-less)
they actually switch to the new one
cuz my original one is problematic...fix already still spoil after few weeks...thn that mech say tukar la
he change the new one by new supplier...3 years already no problem
all new car also use new suppliers..old one...didn't continue already

for me...SL and SM no difference..the oil i'm using now is SL...way better than those petronas, shell, castrol SM

QUOTE(gogoman86 @ Nov 23 2011, 12:40 PM)
tomorrow going to Proton COE for checking. few thing stated for my diagnosis which is :
1) Engine jerking during slow cruising (traffic jam)
2) Engine jerk during car idle
3) Gear knob too tight tongue.gif
4) Driver's door chicking noise during open/close
5) CVT light turn on last 2 month
6) Engine krut krut sound when cruising between 80 to 90 kmph (might be IAFM faulty)
*
3) too tight also got problem?
usually only old car is loose...and i dn't think is good...tight mean new

6) engine krut krut sound?..wow....what kind of sound is that?
the krut sound togather with rev ah?...meaning if u rev higher...krut also follow faster?

Anyone suffers steering wheel vibrates and rattles when go through bumpy uneven roads with FLX?
*
its normal...u mean the horn part is it?
it's normal...this is the disadvantage of the steering that the horn part isn't attached to it
