damn. Was in UNITEN for APUBBC 2011 and i thought the hostels look awesome
( well atleast from the outside ) compared to my own place

Yeah UNITEN hostels are really good, albeit for a premium price, heck...the hostels are even better than what I am staying in now....

Girls hostel even better, got extreme security, spotlight, barred wired!!?, looks like a prison....

in um , shitty rooms , BUT cctv for each floor and entrance. plus rfid card for entry into block... well this is in the residential college that i stayed. not sure about others tho..

wow.. but should add locks to the current gate ma.. big ones, not padlocks

The thing is about Uniten is that they do not change the room locks or main door locks.
So there's a high chance the previous tenant had a duplicate.
I know this sounds shitty, but it's true.
2 years back when I was in Amanah, my friend's apartment got broken into the same way.

The should at least:
1. Replace the locks every semester.
2. Circle the locks around, meaning same locks, but on different random units.
3. Use Key-Card access, where key cards are not easy to duplicate.

I've said this before and I'm gonna say this again, Uniten's management is money minded, they don't care about their students welfare.

And MPP is the biggest shit of all, they're supposed to be the voice of the students but fcuk no. All they do is convey messages from the management to us, that's all they do.

but Pertama college's key to the room is rare. i wanted to duplicate incase of missing, went to few shops said they cannot duplicate as its rare and expensive. but it was 3 yrs ago la
