update for my razr status :
went back to celcom today, i demand for 1 to 1 exchange due to the display problem, they acknowledge it is a defect but their policy, once accept the phone and out from their branch, cannot exchange 1 to 1 (except Iphone), all problem must go back to manufacturer distributor(in my case brightstar), and u need to do it urself, they not help you. so guys who want to but from celcom take note. then i go to brightstar branch at Johor Bahru. they acknowledge it is a manufacturer defect, but not 1 to 1 exchange because they branch in Johor is only a collection center, they do not have any stock there, everything must go back to KL branch. i demand a new set to be replace to me but the staff said they need to send the phone back to HQ/service center(phoneworx), then they will decide whether to replace a new set or repair the set. I going to log a official complain to Brightstar and motorola, to demand a brand new set. |

from the 2 days i using razr, discover that there are too many background application running(auto startup app)and consumming large amount of battery. after i get back my phone, i will root and remove some of the unuse apps. this should improve battery life.
example i got is "motorola service" consuming average 10% of the batt, not sure what Service is that..... |

Brightstar Distribution JB branch is not a service center – We are only can collect the device on Motorola/PhoneWox behalf Meanwhile we have contacted PhoneWox Sunway Mentari branch for their feedback as to assist you with your warranty claims – IF they are (Phonewox) to give you a 1 to 1 swap – They are still in the position of taking their Seed Unit for replacement and We can’t use Brightstar Commercial set for any Warranty replacement – we hope that you can be aware of the Warranty Service agreement between Authorized Service Center and Distributor role are very much from this wat i understand is brightstar cannot replace 1 to 1. because spoilt warranty unit is by motorola/phonewox, while brightstar incharge of new selling set. is this what the reply mean? |
