Thanks for the info, can PM me NZH0920 price ? or I can got Mitsubishi spare part shop to buy ?

Still ok to change & clean filter, just a bit tight to squeeze into the filter, try install 3point strut instead of UR 2point type, different handling feel

Yesterday during the freak storm that hit USJ I was driving towards Saujana Putra near the USJ Restoran Jejantas, via PLUS when I hit quite a long puddle of water & I almost lost control of the car due to aquaplaning... I didn't drive that fast, it was impossible to drive fast in that storm yesterday, maybe only around 60-80km/h... I'm still using standard Conti tires & rims... in fact, that was not the 1st time I experienced aquaplaning.. it seemed like the tires were only okay for the 1st 4-6 months, after that start to have problems in the rain edi.... haih... sad.gif  sad.gif  sad.gif

I noticed that Conti's thread not that deep la... maybe that was the reason... before this on my Saga LMST I used Dunlop tires with 15", no such problem.. of course not a fair comparison.... be careful when driving in the rain guys... storm like yesterday.. once in 10 years I'd say we can experience such things...

Try Nexen korea tyre i chg to 18" now(economy price & lasting),more grip than our continental but a bit noisy on dry rough road, speed at 230 w/o worries, lol, drive safe

Waa anyone got experience with the EON SC in Jalan Sg Besi.

Damnnn cocky that reception!! I damn tulan now!

Anyone can recommend a good SC to fix my rattling and smoke smell in car? First thing they hear me say wana complaint all like faggot try to avoid.

I come in peace okay!@!

Bro, my advice to you (and to all others reading here)...

For minor works on car (oil changes, filter changes, etc) - goto smaller SC or even EON...

For major works AND warranty claims (sounds, clicks, bushes, etc) - goto Proton big SC itself (Sect 13, Mutiara, COE Shah Alam)...

These big SC is computerized and HAVE to enter the details of your comments/claims, and this makes it official, and these big SC usually have a technical manager AND warranty manager... the smaller SC could just snide you off with a crude remark "itu Proton ma"....

Exception to the rule, unless the smaller SC have had experience in rectifying a problem....

Example: Senaxis Ah Yap (the service manager, talks and brags much, knows enough about Inspira but not a lot) is prolly the guy serving you on the noise issue, to which i doubt he knows nuts about it...

My experience with him: he knows engines, oils, what to mod and make power.... but he donno the air filter not clipped properly at the bottom and causes noise and loss power, he simply told me "use fully syn oil will make your engine louder".... wafark??? doh.gif doh.gif

My experience in Sect 13 warranty claim: the are courteous, friendly and listen and enters your complains, and the warranty manager is friendly...

No rubber can stick to the ground if the water puddle is deep AND running.... so drive safe and slow during heavy rain (small drizzle is ok)....

Last Thu, Cheras Taman Hussien Onn using back way (donno wafark road) towards MRR2.... reach the long slope down (at the industrial area behind Giant) with a traffic lights on top of the hill.... was behind a Polo.... heavy rain, bad visibility....

He sped off at green and i followed.... then suddenly down the road, he slowed down.... me happily went to the left lane and pressed on.... reached the left sweeping corner, hitting 90km++...

Turned the steering and yup... both fronts wheels aquaplaned and lift off.... i oso lifted leg off pedal, slowly counter, waited split second, then tap tap tap brakes....

Car "drifted" due to countering, and then back wheels aquaplaned and lifted.... i countered more and tap tap tap and long tap (not slam brakes) brakes until ABS kick in.... finally the tyres gripped the road, and i was able to "drift" out of the corner without hitting anything or spinning....

If i was in the middle lane, i would have hit the curb and prolly flipped over.... and all this happens in less than 2 seconds....

Lesson: While i attacked that corner usually (in dry and slight wet rain) at 100-120kms, and while the Conti are good in moderate wetness and rain.... THEY CANT DO SHIT IF THE ROADS IS VERY WET AND HAVE HUGE AMOUNTS OF FLOWING WATER....

Drive safe you all.... esp up and down Genting....

When u wanna conduct deffensive learning course for us? smile.gif

Yesterday's rain was classified by the Metrological dept as Storm Category 1 - havoc in USJ... so water on the road was more than usual... aquaplanning cud happen even if u drove on Pirelli...
