QUOTE(Lester1987 @ Oct 21 2011, 10:41 AM) may i know how much is the full tank for inspira? how many KM u can hit for highway drive lets say drive at 160kph. Tat day I drive frm JB- kl(To find Kenny)- JB,speed ard 140-170km/h with aircon on,with 1 full tank ard RM95.i am currently a myvi owner, manual SXi planning to upgrade because most of the time only highway JB-KL-JB. if i drive 150-160kph, 1 tank RM60 only can hit 330-350KM. how bout inspira? almost the same? city drive doesn't matter much to me because i will ride bike most of the time in city. but my myvi if city drive, is RM60 = 450-480KM. |

QUOTE(madchin @ Oct 24 2011, 02:15 PM) fixed my window this morning. RM 500?i stick 1 more layer for 4 doors & the back le for tat price at ecotint,i tink they overcharge u,loldid a bit of a running.. since in COE the dude says they dont have the stock and asked me to come back tomorrow, how can i use the car if the window is not okay, sometimes..... they are.... just... hence i went to proton warehouse in glenmarie to purchase the window and went to dr cermin in taman mayang to fix it.. damage is only RM 135.. but here's the big headache.. called up ecotint, and apparently to patch up 1 window, gonna cost me RM 550, like WTFFF... and yes, they said our tint is of the highest grade, etc etc.. looks like im gonna be running around without a tint for awhile before i decide to remove all ecotint and opt for something cheaper... what a monday kickstart This post has been edited by oscarsmh: Oct 24 2011, 07:53 PM |

For those always ask use semi synthetic or fully synthetic all the time, here's my pic after I drove for 5000km after my 1st 1000km service with crappy petronas semi synthetic 800 & proton filter,
![]() Change to a better & long lasting one(10k have to change oil filter only, engine oil may last up to 30k km) ![]() This post has been edited by oscarsmh: Nov 13 2011, 05:24 PM |

QUOTE(Matrix @ Nov 13 2011, 05:28 PM) I whacked 160km/h the next day i got the car by going down to Melaka. Ard 270 includes labour & mitsubishi original oil filter done by my friend, proton ask us to change at 10,000km with this stupid oil, dark colour is normal but too early jo.After I pour in my new engine oil, start engine for 1mins,all the engine noise soften very much, pickup smoother than crap petronas oil.Added on November 13, 2011, 5:30 pm Please show photo of your full synth next service ok. I bet it'll be black as well. I read somewhere, you can't determine the quality of the oil because it's black. It is suppose to be black. How much for the Liqui Moly btw? Maybe try next time. |

Added on November 13, 2011, 9:32 pm Thanks for the info, can PM me NZH0920 price ? or I can got Mitsubishi spare part shop to buy ? Added on November 14, 2011, 3:51 pm QUOTE(tyhuang @ Nov 14 2011, 12:27 PM) guis, can help me who should i contact if i wana get the following stuff? Contact sleed?strut bar? suspension cover (i think can get from sleed) the car key flip 1 side step mitsu carpet? thanks ya Added on November 14, 2011, 3:55 pm QUOTE(tenno @ Nov 14 2011, 02:39 PM) Yesterday during the freak storm that hit USJ I was driving towards Saujana Putra near the USJ Restoran Jejantas, via PLUS when I hit quite a long puddle of water & I almost lost control of the car due to aquaplaning... I didn't drive that fast, it was impossible to drive fast in that storm yesterday, maybe only around 60-80km/h... I'm still using standard Conti tires & rims... in fact, that was not the 1st time I experienced aquaplaning.. it seemed like the tires were only okay for the 1st 4-6 months, after that start to have problems in the rain edi.... haih... Try Nexen korea tyre i chg to 18" now(economy price & lasting),more grip than our continental but a bit noisy on dry rough road, speed at 230 w/o worries, lol, drive safeI noticed that Conti's thread not that deep la... maybe that was the reason... before this on my Saga LMST I used Dunlop tires with 15", no such problem.. of course not a fair comparison.... be careful when driving in the rain guys... storm like yesterday.. once in 10 years I'd say we can experience such things... QUOTE(Poadster @ Nov 14 2011, 04:45 PM) No rubber can stick to the ground if the water puddle is deep AND running.... so drive safe and slow during heavy rain (small drizzle is ok).... our cc tyre can't brake well during downhill genting especially those area close to hump, quite slippery maybe not engh grip, drive safety...Last Thu, Cheras Taman Hussien Onn using back way (donno wafark road) towards MRR2.... reach the long slope down (at the industrial area behind Giant) with a traffic lights on top of the hill.... was behind a Polo.... heavy rain, bad visibility.... He sped off at green and i followed.... then suddenly down the road, he slowed down.... me happily went to the left lane and pressed on.... reached the left sweeping corner, hitting 90km++... Turned the steering and yup... both fronts wheels aquaplaned and lift off.... i oso lifted leg off pedal, slowly counter, waited split second, then tap tap tap brakes.... Car "drifted" due to countering, and then back wheels aquaplaned and lifted.... i countered more and tap tap tap and long tap (not slam brakes) brakes until ABS kick in.... finally the tyres gripped the road, and i was able to "drift" out of the corner without hitting anything or spinning.... If i was in the middle lane, i would have hit the curb and prolly flipped over.... and all this happens in less than 2 seconds.... Lesson: While i attacked that corner usually (in dry and slight wet rain) at 100-120kms, and while the Conti are good in moderate wetness and rain.... THEY CANT DO SHIT IF THE ROADS IS VERY WET AND HAVE HUGE AMOUNTS OF FLOWING WATER.... Drive safe you all.... esp up and down Genting.... This post has been edited by oscarsmh: Nov 14 2011, 06:29 PM |
