That's because of the channel that you are using. smile.gif
Try changing the channel, to channel 11 or etc. Mine is channel 6 and it works the best till this date.

Any idea how can we tell that it is because of the channel?

Download inSSIDer here - http://www.metageek.net/products/inssider-wifi-scanner/ - to inspect WiFi channel availability

Recommended channel are 1, 6 or 11 however if your house is heavily WiFi-ed, you have to test all channel to get a non-interference channel.

I have both and earlier Aztech HW-550 3G is not that flexible when it comes to modem compatibility list.
Recently, with the endless of upgrades, I can even run my E372 on it.
Speed wise, I would say both are pretty the same. smile.gif

I prefer TP Link MR 3420 to Aztech HW-550 3G. smile.gif

Input voltage is 12V DC so can use car battery. Well still 'mobility' on the road or camping.
