By the view of it, it shouldn't be that difficult but I'll prefer to hand over to someone pro in this area to do it.
If I were to do it, I must be prepared with some hiccups. |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Nov 11 2012, 07:33 PM) That time the fault wasn't on the router but iPad. Remember the first time when you bought the HW550 and tried to setup to match it with your MF622 ? Anyway, why do you want it? It can't recognize supercharged E372 anymore. This Router if you match it with a MF680, dismantle the Antenna , disable WiFi can give you very low ping. My Mr3420 V1 and V2 cannot match it at all on ping. Moreover, i discover that without using WiFi, the router is not hot and does not requires a Fan to blow it. I open up , as shown in my earlier posting, the inside was nicely spaced out, no cramped circuits, capacitor also good quality. I even re-enabled back wifi without putting back the Antenna, it too work great. Now the next step is to get a DDWRT flashed router and LAN out from HW550, you can have very good WiFi in your place. I just missed the chance to buy a used Linksys DDWRT flashed router for only rm60 |

You are like Manchester United FC and I am like Liverpool FC Btw, you reverted back to stock firmware before i brought out the Cat6e cable to discuss, why you dun like OpenWRT ? |

QUOTE(chuahcs79 @ Nov 11 2012, 08:38 PM) why dont u do a test like me with your so called Cat6 or Cat6e cable ? no point to argue with you , i cannot challenge you as your area have far much better signal than me, but i can say that even though my signal sucks compared to yours, i can get better ping with a cat6e cable on sucky signal.oh the stock firmware i flash it back to prove a point to you ma, ia m pro in flashing, now it is back to openwrt I dun lie, its in my screenshots, ping of 27, can you touch so low with wat ever patpou that you have over there coupled with RSSI of 55~65, E372,Mf680, OpenWRT, Antenna, Cooler pad, fan, Naked modem, 5 Towers in front of your window ? I am trying to prove that without all those in my area, i still managed to get Ping of 27, why? Just 3 basic things, HW550,MF680 and Cat6e Cable on the RSSI of 93 and Low Signal |
