alrite thnx for the answer.

but from ur guide it seem just open cmd and then type AT+ZCDRUN=8  but it tell me that AT+ZCDRUN=8 is not recognized as internal or external command operable program or batch file which mean it cannot open the software

so any1 can teach me step by step to disable it? cuz i scared it will void my umobile modem warranty and how to revert it back
*
which window u use ? xp or 7 ?

Added on November 28, 2011, 9:26 pmfor window 7

->plug your modem into your pc and wait for pc to recognise it ( close the dialer if it pop up )
-> click start
-> enter CMD in search column
-> type in AT+ZCDRUN=8 (Disable cd /flashdrive autorun )
-> press enter -> done ( u will see a message showing u that autorun is disable )
-> unplug the modem from pc
-> plug it in your tp link 3G router
-> router will auto recognize it now

You can't execute the command in CMD. You need to connect to the modem first. For this you can use Putty. After you have made the connection, then you can run the command to disabled autorun.

the TL-MR3420 router default setting is auto connect and just need to set the apn or slelect it from country -> apn ( default )

so far i only choose maxis since i am using maxis then it auto dial and connect,.. no other setting needed though,.

can u explain in detail what your customer mean by cannot connect with LAN to get internet 3G ?

Whether connected via ethernet (wired) or wireless, client computer will get an IP address from router (DHCP). If the customer is using wired connection & unable to browse internet, most probably the computer didn't get an IP address or he set static IP address on the ethernet port on his computer.

i think in term of download speed, your E220 + TL-MR3420 doing a better job for your UM compare to ZTE MF 190 direct plug in alone,.. hmm.gif

Can I connect my YES Zoom to the WAN port and use it as router and as wifi access point?

If I place my Zoom at 1st floor i can get 3-4 bars, but only 1 bar at ground floor.

So if i place my Zoom at 1st floor and connect it to MR3420 which will be place at ground floor, and use it as wifi hot spot can?

or i connect my notebook via RJ45 to this router.
