try turn off the phone and reinsert the casing..its probably problem with static..the reason you may be able to use w/o the casing is probably because the static have not being build up enough to affect the screen yet...many people got it fixed by pulling the grounding pin tho...since you've recently changed to a new back case, maybe you could clean the contact on the new back case or to press it firmer when u re-install the back case.

I meant before fixing my screen, I can use even without my back casing and my friend's one worked fine without the back casing as well. Now, with or without casing also same. And the vibrator is weird. It's like there's some plasticky sound vibrating inside the phone. This happened before they changed the motherboard as well.

maybe you could re-calibrate the battery by:

1. drain the phone's battery dry and let the phone turn itself off.
2. wait for a couple of minutes, and switch it on again.
3. repeat the 2 steps above until the phone cant turn on no more.
4. then charge it until it full.

After the process above, use it normally, you should feel that the battery consumption is very high. It will become normal again after a week or so..

in normal circumstance, it should work even without the casing, i believe if you use it long enough without the casing, the static will eventually build up and you will have the weird problem again. Since you have the problem right after you sent it in, maybe you should re-send it to them and be specific regarding the problems you faced. Maybe you could turn it off, pull the battery up and leave it overnight? It should leave the phone plenty of time to discharge the static.

Hey dude....how did you convince the HTC workers to change the touch screen for you, if got dust under the screen?
I wanted to go a lot of times already but i am kinda busy and i need to use my phone like every freaking day.....
Not having a smartphone for 1 or 2 weeks can be very unconvenient
I don't really mind at times but when i am watching/playing games/movies.....the dust can be quiet annoying vmad.gif

just back from lowyat, bought a screen protector cover the entire screen.
It really make a big different compare the standard size that cover partially of the screen. although there is some bubble on the side of screen, but it look much better than the SP that cover partially.

btw, is the dust on the screen obvious??? how long u used to have dust under the screen?

i bought at the shops at third floor. I bought it at RM35, is a small shop that just sell HTC phone, near the escalator but when i'm searching for casing which is just in front of that HTC shop too, offering RM25 only for either mate or clear, but is inside their main shop la doh.gif so try to search around, coz lots of shop only have the SP that cover partially of the screen and they will tell you that Sensation only have this type of SP which is incorrect.

Oh my, this is pretty annoying. Sometimes it works though. And does it mean that if I use my phone frequently, the static will be built up extremely quickly or something like this? hmm.gif I told them specifically what's the issue. Showed them. First fix was for dust under the screen, they replaced Screen and Touch Panel. After replacing, the touchscreen problem occurred. Then, they replaced the motherboard. And after a few days, BAM! the problem is back. shakehead.gif

I have sent it in and they have changed it once. After the change only did I get this problem. So, it's like I sent my phone in to get a problem. Unbelievable doh.gif

Most shop in Lowyat will sell a properly sized screen protector. First time, I got it free from purchasing a Moov Hybrid casing. That guy was very careful and the screen protector is perfect without any bubbles. That cost me RM85. After my screen and touch panel has been replaced, I bought a screen protector for RM20 and the person who applied it seriously sucks. All corners full of bubbles. doh.gif
So, make sure the person who's applying for you is good. nod.gif

Anyway, the first casing purchased from second floor. Very big shop I think the shop got big Mobile Accessories word. The second screen protector was purchased from ground floor HTC small little tiny shop. nod.gif
