From what i heard stock kernel keeps the g model processor at 1k mhz most of the time. Maybe thats why batt seems to last longer.
*
Lol, even kept at 800mhz max Exynos still sucks batt like a vampire. It's still ridiculously fast though. I have to agree here though that OMAP has better battery management, it has been that way for years (OMAP = slower but good general power saving characteristics).

Which leads me to the Nexus Prime and it's OMAP goodness.

Sigh. Is fate conspiring to drive me bankrupt this year or what?

No, I had disable that in the setting, and I only pressed them once. Sometimes the drawer comes up. Sometimes Voice Talk. I even considered uninstalling the app, but it cant be removed.
*
I do not think you can disable it in setting. Double press home = voice commands.

Quite long time I didnt monitor the battery life can last for how long..but I schedule myself to charge it..Example I come back from work..I charge everyday..then weekend..when I wake up, I charge.. laugh.gif

This is what I'm practicing..and always in my mind that..a super car won't concern about fuel consumption at all.. laugh.gif

Sorry, I disable the double tap the phone. But still, I always only need to press once for them to appear.

Texas Instruments OMAP is the SOC (aka processor, though this definition is actually wrong, both socs use Cortex A9 procs) on the i9100G lar. The Original i9100 uses Samsung's own Exynos SOC.

It is not an app.

@Lineage: No. UC will STILL be benificial though as it lessens heat generated. Plus, I haven't found any app or game that ACTUALLY needs the procs to run so fast.

I run 1000-200 and nothing lags pun.

Please note double tap in the settings is NOT equal to double press home button. SGS2 by default will execute voice control when double press home button.

cannot live with out either one of it. need bigger battery for longer life, need casing to protect the precious SGS2!! believe it or not, might have to continue using the original battery then.

will the new samsung 2000mAH fit into the SGP casing?

Not all cases, only a select few full cases can fit and even then it's not a 100% fit. In the end you can use bumpers, which is the main form of protection for SGS2 with full bulge extended batteries too.

OK this may be a n00b question but i have read through page 1 already and find no answer.

I got myself AP set SGS2 with the info below:
PDA: I9100UHKI2
PHONE: I9100UHKI1
CSC:I9100TPAKI2

I wanna root but from the xda page the insecure kernel for UHKI is not listed. Can i use other Kernel instead?

No cannot. That is the only feature not included. The app does not run in background / startup.

But if u use siyah kernel governors such as ondemandx, smartassv2, lagfree etc. already got sleep setting so profile is not needed.

There's a few question i wanna ask ..

1) When i customize my phone ringtone , it starts from soft tone to loud tone .. Is there any way to change it ??

2) Is there any website or market i can download customize fonts ??

Thanks for the reply ..
Question One: It's started off soft for a second or two then it goes full blast according to the volume level you've set. Well, it's a good thing right to start off softly then into high gear, right? Same goes to sexual activity. Foreplay before rigorous sex action pow-wow!

Question Two: Go to The Market. Click Search button. Type "Fonts". You should be able to get some off from there.

one stall in digital mall PJ trying to sell me extended battery for RM259. when i pointed out that the RRP is 139 (it's even printed on samsung mobile news) she told me that price is bundled with phone, without even BLINKING.

i just gave her a look and walked away. bloody dishonest.
As long as the goods sit on the Recommended Retail Price (RRP) that should be fine. Supply and demand are also taken into account but I'd say the battery should be at RM139 as of current market supply and demand. RM259 is absurdly cut throat. I hate these kind of sellers...always thinking of gaining quick bucks and not building long term customer base. Sigh...

I agree with you wholeheartedly. A few minutes difference...not much I would say. Same thing goes to me. As long as it can last me while I'm in the office or within my working hours. A spare battery in the pocket shall ease some worries though. This, however, is dependent on user and his/her usage of SGS2.
