By the way for those who experience lagness and choppy performance after update, u can try restore setting first, it seemed to work for me, i did not hard reset.

Same here, I didnt want to go thru the hassle of re-copying, did the 'restore settings'. It's fine.
If notification light dont work from previous version, could be hardware problem, updates wouldnt solve it. Unless you ask the developer sifus to write an a prog for it. Mine works from the time I bought it

.......... But it's kind of a pain without my favourite and trusty opera mobile though

Opera Mobile 11 is available for download from evrythingn9.com, along with the guide. But it only has landscape mode.

I'm glad the camera performance has improved but what about the wi-fi sensitivity? Any improvement there?
*
Slight improvement I guess. Additional 1 bar, if last time 1 bar now is 2 bars - I'm upstairs, the MCD is one floor down.
Better test would be those who had problems with home WIFI, my home WIFI is stable as router is upstairs.

Oh, now they have an icon that shows charging & tick sign when fully charged, along with the usual white notification light.

2 things..

i didn't notice any notification light flashing while charging
Bottom left, white LED light. For me, it was already there since before the update. But now it seems to be brighter. If dont have, never mind, now there's an icon on the screen showing battery being charged.

As for the soft cover, they are selling ori ones at nokia service centre at 1u but will only stock up next week, so i am gonna get one. Price is rm 59 instead of rm79 due to promotion.
*
You mean the silicone case?
As for the N9 leather flap type case, the hp accessory shop has it for RM39, ori I think is RM159 to RM189. I'll wait till the non ori silicone case comes, more choices

My FB chat and Skype are on 24 hours smile.gif.. I'm a heavy online user..

still, the battery is running out faster than before.

when on 3G it drains faster. Mine on wifi & standby : 99% to 84% took 5 hrs.
now testing 3G. Before update on 3g it can last ard 10 hours, aft update drain faster
I dont think developer mode effect much, its the 3G.

The problem is it does not last full day after update,i.e. 12 hours. Hence, the analysis as to what might be causing battery drain.

My 2nd try

Switching between wifi and 2.5G network online intervally from 11am until 10.22pm battery now got 35% including of phone calls , smses, foursquare check in and facebook chat.
*
1 am to 9 pm=18 hours, reach 16%, with 3G and wifi, no power saving(some features are disabled with power save). My expectations for battery life is quite high, being spoilt by the E series & blackberry tongue.gif
Next, will test the PR 1.1 with cutetube downloads. Before update, can last 18 hours, with 2 to 3 hours of cutetube download queue wink.gif

Wow, can still go at 1% lol. The lowest I wait to charge is 4%

Thanks in advance!

so apparently this upgrade path is blocked?

for you and me no. I could reinstall the update on mon cos developer mode cannot on.
but i read quite a number of msians cannot download thru nsu, maybe that's the reason, or just nokia server overload with more people trying to download, hahaha

Another thing, after PR 1.1, firefox is more snappy. I still stick to the in built browser though, more smooth.
