does your phone asked for security code after u reset it ?

I had the exact same problem like u . the only difference is I use Maxis .

I tried to reset and put my nokia account pass for the security code .

Now , works fine !

Interesting...I wonder why the service manual recommends using a shielding lid once once.

It's possible to reset N9/N950 using flasher tool.

i dont understand anything. I just want to know how big is the battery. hahaha

It's more less similar size as BH-5C used in N900 but with ribbon to attach motherboard.
Different design compared to N8.

after try all teh way to find the security code just to reset the N9... i fail.... even NSS no detect it =="

Last last used nokia software updater to reinstall the whole OS. So far the message is doing good. Hope it continue like this.

if your unit is not telco branded (singtel?) then should be ok

Even if it's branded Singel or Cap Ayam you can still use their N9 with Malaysian telcos.
Singapore is one of the 1st country which made carrier lock illegal.That plus N9's pentaband support should make N9 work in pretty much all GSM network.
