smth wrong with my n9 right now i did the hard reset via settings and the phone turns off. problem is, its not turning back on. i tried manually turning it on but nth happens. the led flashes once and tats it. anyone know of a solution?

Works already, i never thought it takes more than 30 minutes to install the new NSU. that's just crazy

ok now instead of a blank screen when i turn on the phone i get a circular arrow instead

After clear device, my nokia n9 give me great performance. Im very satisfy with pr1.1 even though there still lack of features. Maybe pr 1.2 will give more.

It is so awesome to have swype finally but i dont think it is very user friendly when u actually feel like typing with it, it is only for one handed when i wanna make one handed in put, like replying a quick text outside, still prefer the buiilt in keyboard as it is very easy to type. I Completely replied this thread using the built in keyboard

Added on November 12, 2011, 3:30 pmDid anyone notice that the swipe down to close feature is dependant to the actual phone position rather than the screen orientation? I had my phone upside down and i swipe down from that position it closes down the app but the screen orientation is showing upside down. I wonder if this is a mistake or intentionally made so. It's rather confusing.

already stated the circluar arrow means its flashing leave it there until it reboot itself usually takes about 10mins to 20mins. Remember to self be patient and just wait hahaha

i still prefer fmobi, yes u gotta pay but at least it is not and buggy but the new one seemed to improved quite a bit, will give it a try. Sadly the notification light continue not work during charging but i can live with that.

I prefer the current facebook app now direct integrated

By the way for those who experience lagness and choppy performance after update, u can try restore setting first, it seemed to work for me, i did not hard reset.

Same here, I didnt want to go thru the hassle of re-copying, did the 'restore settings'. It's fine.
If notification light dont work from previous version, could be hardware problem, updates wouldnt solve it. Unless you ask the developer sifus to write an a prog for it. Mine works from the time I bought it

Well don't actually need developers sifu to do that, just need to enable developers mode, edit certain lines. I stumbled upon the guide before. But couldn't be bothered with it. I tried not to re enable developers mode after this reflashing because i wanna test out the battery performance, see how would that go. But it's kind of a pain without my favourite and trusty opera mobile though

Opera Mobile 11 is available for download from evrythingn9.com, along with the guide. But it only has landscape mode.

phone working fine now but i lost all my maps sigh

Slight improvement I guess. Additional 1 bar, if last time 1 bar now is 2 bars - I'm upstairs, the MCD is one floor down.
Better test would be those who had problems with home WIFI, my home WIFI is stable as router is upstairs.
