wonder if i should go through the trouble to contact fsm to withdraw from account B. i only have about less than rm1.5k in acc B. not like i need the money but i have been investing small since 2014 and the return though is positive, is not that great. only thing is the tax benefit. and since i have at least 15-20 more years before retirement.

Yes if you need the extra cash since it’s not always you can withdraw from account B

Are there many types of PRS?

I haven't buy / invest in any yet, which is the best, and what should look into during selection?

All unit trust companies and some insurance companies manage many PRS Funds. They are very similar to unit trust, just that you have to be committed for long term savings like EPF. You can get more details from ppa.my who regulate PRS.

Is it a new investment for a new PRS fund or a top up for an existing PRS fund in your PRS portfolio?

Sorry to say that it is not entitled.

Note:
One of the prevailing terms and conditions for pre-retirement withdrawal from sub-account B is still applicable, whereby such withdrawals may only be made from a PRS fund one year after enrolment.

After invested in Kenanga OnePRS Growth Fund for 4 years, I decided to switch out to Kenanga OnePRS Shariah Equity Fund.

Cumulative return: 24.5%
Annualized return: 4.0%

Hope this decision is not a mistake.

Kenanga OnePRS Growth Fund and Kenanga Shariah OnePRS Growth Fund have 20% to 30% investing into bond fund.

Whereas, Kenanga OnePRS Shariah Equity Fund is almost fully investing into equity fund.
