I'm currently on my vacation so I've only reported to the nearest police station in my area in Terengganu. They didn't give me a copy of the report because it's only first report, and I don't have time to see the report number either.
What I do know is that the station I lodge the report to had forwarded the report to Damansara Police Station and after I finished my vacation, they will contact me for statement recording and further investigation. The part where I'm most grateful is that roughly after 2 minutes, the officer from Damansara contacted me to get more information about the bank he used and then ,the officer at the station I lodge the report confirmed me that the investigation was already open.He even showed me the monitor and he was a little bit supprised. Hope this will go great and we can catch him fast. Update: Got another Sergeant called just now.Telling me the case had been opened and ask about further details about Qiling. The only drawback is that I cannot give him all the evidence because I'm not in PJ. PROCEDURE OF LODGING A POLICE REPORT OVER INTERNET CRIME
If you happens to use internet for trading, and have been conned, the steps below are some guideline for you to use on how to lodge a police report. 1. Please prepare all the materials as below if applicable:- a. SMS (print it out if possible, enclosed date, time as well for each sms, including reply made) b. Email (print it out) c. Inbox PM involved (print it out) d. Advertising page where the item is sold (print it out) and links e. Details used/given by seller (Name, bank account, address, phone number) f. Transaction statement (banking slip or screenshot) *print it out 2. Prepare a short chronology of what happens. From enquiring to payment. Translate it to Bahasa Malaysia if possible to easy up on translating during lodging report time. Please enclose all the url links involved. 3. Bring all the materials in (1) and (2) and head to your nearest police station (where you done the banking transaction). You might require to go to the district Head Quarters to facilitate investigation depending on the Investigation Officers. 4. Remember to follow up your case with the Investigation Officer involved.Depending how fast the police are doing their job (because there’s quite a number of procedure that they have to follow),you will be contacted by them once they arrest the suspect for investigation. 5. Once the investigation completed and they wants to charge the suspect, he could be jailed and fined upon conviction by the court. This post has been edited by brandonyeap88: Oct 9 2011, 07:54 PM |

Guess I'm alone in Sarikei...actually this is the 2nd time I've been 'screwed'. I am also a victim of Skyhobby...geez, if not for Lelong 'bestowing' Qiling with the BPP, I would not have bidded. Lelong is actually a tool for fraudsters....
