I'm going to the police station now.Compiled all the info and details about Tan Kean Beng and his family and friends. What exactly I should address him in my report?Qiling or Tan Kean Beng?

I'm currently on my vacation so I've only reported to the nearest police station in my area in Terengganu. They didn't give me a copy of the report because it's only first report, and I don't have time to see the report number either.

What I do know is that the station I lodge the report to had forwarded the report to Damansara Police Station and after I finished my vacation, they will contact me for statement recording and further investigation.

The part where I'm most grateful is that roughly after 2 minutes, the officer from Damansara contacted me to get more information about the bank he used and then ,the officer at the station I lodge the report confirmed me that the investigation was already open.He even showed me the monitor and he was a little bit supprised.

Hope this will go great and we can catch him fast.

Update: Got another Sergeant called just now.Telling me the case had been opened and ask about further details about Qiling. The only drawback is that I cannot give him all the evidence because I'm not in PJ.

Hi,
Regarding my police report, the officer made a mistake by not putting in the details of transaction into the report.
If I were to use it for Lelong BPP,will it be a problem?Advice needed.

After i get all scaning details, i will send to lelong admin and copy, and go to surrender myself. Sorry that i currently can't surrender myself without any proof detils on my hand right now.
As i said, currently i still will continuw bank in refund, how much as i can. until i personally get caught or get all details, surrender myself here.

For general knowledge,it took only 15 hours for Lelong to reply my initiation of BPP. I suggest for those who still not make any BPP request , do it now.For those who still not make a police report,do a report in that 15 hour using the infos in the first page.It will save a lot of our time waiting.

Here is the thing, should we let the case just passes like tat if we really get the refund from Lelong?  hmm.gif
sigh, no problem bro, i guess we all frustrated.
*
I'm thinking, we should ensure Lelong.my that we WILL keep quiet IF they FULL refund us.That could boost their management morale more I think.

I agree, but police services is still needed to help catch the culprits that ruin the e-commerce system so that both companies and buyers alike won't suffer loses alone while the syndicate roam free and enjoying profit. This also help prevent same problem from happening in the future.

You all sounds like very happy and got the money back.
Oh wait, no one got anything back yet.

Lelong has not refunded yet,
the conman is still at large.

Don't angry with me for stating the fact..
*
Me personally is not angry with you. I also noticed that. The other thing is the case has been cold last few days with no new information about this conman. After all,we have done everything we could for now including claiming BPP from Lelong. Most of us I think is in stand-by for now.

Nevertheless, I would also like to thank iostream and others who contribute to this thread, especially the ones who rally outside Lelong's office and gives statement to the police. With their actions we know that this case has actually got the attention we need in order to hopefully solve this problem. Keep up the good work guys.

I've submitted the claim form on 13th Oct, but when I contacted Lelong today they said it will take 45 days to investigate. But,they also said that since the police has started investigation it may take more than that..Haihz,how much longer we should wait.

I've done my follow-up report with the police today. Looks like they're looking at it like a single individual case.
