Stargazer... which part that you don't understand? I think we had some discussion couple of pages before... maybe lots of pages before... The point of the movie is to make more money by selling merchandise, as with all gundam series.

I don't really mind Kamille not becoming mind-fried, but at least some psycho attack on him would be nice. Expose him to some terrors of war of stuff like that, but whether Kamille is fried or not, I don't really mind.

But I don't like how Fa and Kamille ended up together at the end. For me, Fa doesn't seem like Kamille's soulmate. Four should be the one but she died, so never mind. But throughout the 3 movies, Kamille was clearly not that attached to Fa. She was probably the role of a close childhood friend whom everyone thought they were an item, but not in reality.

Anyway, this is what I interpret from the movies, dunno about how the anime portrayed Fa and Kamille's relationship.

ZZ... don't really feel like watching it, even though Zeta was interesting. the ZZ gundam looks really chunky and bulky, nothing like the sleek Zeta.

"Gundam Seed will now serve the next generation"....

I refuse to believe that Shinn and Lunamaria had feelings towards each other. To me it is just a rushed pairing, just for the sake for letting everyone in the show to have a partner. Too bad for them.

The relationships in GSD is really messed up and horrible. YUCKS...

Athrun and Meyrin is a horrible pairing. Meyrin didn't show much attention or affection to Athrun at first, it was all Luna going gaga over Athrun. And later when the writers began to mess everything up, they decided that Meyrin didn't get enough screentime, so they let her join in the Athrun hunt. And the excuse they used was Meyrin had been secretly having a crush for Athrun.


Forget it.... GSD messed everything up.

We will never get sick of bashing GSD, just like how Fukuda won't get sick of recycled scenes

Kira stole everything from Shinn... the main character role, the main mecha at the title screen, his supposed mentor Athrun, and basically pwned everything which is not related to Archangel....

I was surprised the title didn't change into Gundam Seed Strike Freedom...

I refuse to believe that they would die just like that. Yes, they might be dead, but remember this is CE... anything can happen. If they want to revive them (for more model-promoting OVAs of course), they could simply conjure a reason for them to survive, eg wrong calculation by Selene... Stargazer's AI did something miraculous... bla bla... you get the idea...

True, Kira was always the main character in CE era, but Destiny is not his show, and he shouldn't snatch the limelight from Shinn. Don't get the wrong idea, I am not a Shinn supporter anyway.

Kira should have stayed as a side character in GSD, like how Amuro did in Zeta. Come out and whack a few grunts, show off his skills, and then stay back on the small Orb island and be quiet. Let ZAFT and EA do all the fighting. To be honest, he has nothing to do with Orb, so why interfere? He was never the prince of Orb, unlike Cagalli who has the responsibility to ensure the soverignity of her country.

This has been raised for umpteen times, but it is always worth ranting. Kira should never had taken over the limelight, it just spoils the whole balance of the show. Even for Shinn... Join Lacus and co. at the end? ZOMFG...

If you were living in the CE era, obviously Dullindal's idea of the Destiny Plan, which is similar to the ancient caste system, should not be implemented. However, should you support Lacus? I know I won't, because she doesn't rally for anything either. All she does is manipulate Kira and Athrun and the whole of Archangel to whack every faction, and then left everything in turmoil. So after all the pwning, what is left? No leadership, no goverment, no laws, no ideals, absolutely nothing left. So, once again the fighting resumes. (giving Kira the chance to pwn everyone again)

To be honest, even the psychotic Relena in GW has something that she believes in. Pacificism, total peace without any armaments. Although her ideals were also imperfect, at least she is fighting for something. Not like Lacus' pink army who pwns everything in sight just for eye candy.

Let's assume that Lacus has something in mind that she's fighting for. And what does she do? Instead of rallying troops to form a rebel group, like White Fang, League Militia, AEUG etc, all she had was 3 DOMs... and of course god-mode SF and IJ and the absurd Hyaku-insulting Akatsuki. 5 units + 2 battleships pwning everything in sight. Oh, and the Kusanagi with a few Murasames. A relatively small troop, pwning an entire ZAFT army. OK, to be fair, this IS CE, where the most absurd things could and will happen.

But the point is, I'd like to know how Lacus rallied her troops, how she managed to get so many supporters despite being obsure for so long. Don't give nonsense like it was an undercover job that the Clyne faction helped her and such. ZAFT, under Dullindal, was adored by all of ZAFT (except the Junius 7-dropping terrorists) and even Earth countries. There's not much sense that ZAFT would turn their backs on Dully just because Lacus has returned.

Geez... No brains. They'd rather vote for a singer rather than support a true politician who has done so much good. OK, Destiny plan was bad, but even before the PLANT citizens could show any sign of resistance or objection, Dully was pwned.

AEUG, not unlike Lacus' army, was a rebellion force. So was League Militia. Even White Fang. At least it made sense that all these factions had something to fight, aka cruel treatment by the Titans, Zanscare, and Romfeller. Lacus' army had none. Except that she knows ZAFT is going to pwn Orb.

Ah... long rant, but the point is... GSD had no focus, that's why it was so BAD.

Terminal is crap. People supporting Lacus blindly is also crap. Whole GSD is real crap, especially the bolded one on top. HOW TRUE IS THAT !!

Stop polluting gundam for the 10 year old fangirls and fan boys !! HELLO!! We are the ones who are more able to spend on gundam merchandise !!

About the unicorn mecha, I'm not really fond of the weird design. And since it's only a novel and not a full series of anime, I guess I might not be as enthusiastic. But UC... hm... might be worthwhile. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

tsk tsk tsk... Zeta movie left out a lot of things... no Char punching... not even Rosamia's killing in Psycho MKII... there's only one Psycho in the movie, and even Four's death was not dramatic and Kamille-affecting.... Four was killed like a stray dog in the movie... meh...

Palace Athene did appear in the 3rd movie... but it did nothing spectacular though, just some wrestling with Methuss and got KO'ed by Emma... that's it.

But the battle btw The O and Quebeley was superb... Newtype psycho POWAH !! Both were trying to fry each other... Too bad Kamille wasnt that strong in the movie...

The souls that you saw are newtype souls... Newtypes, when dead, live on as souls, floating around and messing with other living newtypes' minds, like Kamille's. Think Jedis and you'll get the idea of a newtype. The Zeta's biosensor gimmick channels Kamille's newtype powers (coupled with other dead newtypes too) into the suit, making it do kick ass things like energy shield and super long beam sabres...

Kinda cheesy, but that's the way it works... At least it's more acceptable than plot armor or plot ammo.

CE characters wear phase shift even on their uniforms... Kira had a whole MS blowing in front of him, and the whole cockpit was shattered. Yet he only ended up in bandages. Andy at least lost an eye and an arm. Athrun only got superficial injuries (bleeding head) while Meyrin had nothing at all...

Love relationships in gundam should be subtle, vague, yet strong and heart-warming. Like Zechs-Noin... Like Emma-Henken... Like Odelo-Erischa, Marvet-Oliver... Even Mwu-Murrue was kinda sweet. Bitter sweet that is.

I hate soap opera stories where a couple ends up discovering they were each other's lost twin. Or simply pairing up two characters which do not have much interaction throughout the series.

Say TAK NAK to Kira-Cagalli incest... Athrun should go back to Cagalli, but maintain their love relationship like those examples mentioned above. No lovey-dovey stuff, just pure affection. To hell with robot platonic Kira-Lacus... To hell with absurd Athrun-Meyrin... To eternal hell with Shinn-Luna !!

Seriously, almost all gundams are the same, especially Tomino's gundams... I don't mind at all, as long as they develop the characters well. GW's starting was superb... no emo kid... they were killing machines

Monoeyed gundam? Depends on what your definition of gundam is

To me there is no monoeyed gundam... even the pic above. But I would welcome any (and every) monoeyed mecha which is on par or even superior to gundams... CE Sazabi anyone? NO !!! STOP THE BLASPHEMY !!

Oh yeah, the pic reminds me of SRW designs more than gundam designs, especially boxy UC mechas. Look at the amount of sharp fins... It's so SRW...
