In my opinion, WD HDs are the best. I've been using WD since.....since....EVER! Never once did it fail me. The only time is did fail was that one time the PC dropped 3 feet onto the ground, it was on too..
Luckily it was a test PC, P3 system. But other than that, I can say I've used around 5-7 WD HDs, never failed me. LONG LIVE WESTERN DIGITAL! |

My harddisks:
EDITED: 1. Hitachi SATA 160 GB is about 43° C degree 2. WD PATA 40 GB is about 48° C degree I checked on noon (12.00 pm) while my computer run from 7.00 am till noon. This post has been edited by coolblade: Dec 7 2006, 12:40 PM |

currently using 80gb wd sata on my intel rig, this 1 is damn quiet.
using 80gb seagate sata on amd rig, when start up got a bit noise. plan 2 get a 160gb hitachi / wd soon. |
