Firstly=I am not bro (pls see my profile on the left) grumble.gif

Why ppl always assume only male here ah? Women cannot use Huawei Honor meh? Not a big deal actually but its annoying what sleep.gif (Since my gender is already stated out what)

Secondly=The recording is pretty decent enough for me. Only using RecForge Pro for voice recordings. Its a third party apps that you have to download into the Honor to experience it for yourself. DIY tongue.gif

According to reviews by other gamers. Airport city will even crash on Samsung Galaxy S, it could be a software bugs lah. Smurts Village animation might be too heavy for Honor? Cause I saw alot multitask animation on it?

Sound from video recording is very very soft.. Sound recording (default app) seems better, but still soft. Suggest you test it personally if possible

Why sometimes when i quit from apps by clicking the home button it will show loading and after awhile it just disappear. What's loading actually. Not a problem but just a lil bit annoying.

after using 4.0 for 2 weeks. i feel like switching to 2.3.6 even tho got the video camera bug. Will only change back to 4.0 after they resolve all the bugs.

What im very annoyed with the 4.0
- no task manager
- Locker only have camer and unlock compare to the previous version which has unlock, camera, call log, msges.
- hang's alot
- random reboot.

the most un tolerable is the random reboot. sometimes im in a hurry to make a call. suddenly this phone will randomly reboot and will take minutes. For now, 2.3.6 is good enough for me, and i there is not that much changes from 2.3.6 to 4.0 to make me stick to 4.0

i feel u man. same set of complaints, especially the reboots. Another gripe is the missing power saver mode. it was nice not to have to download an app or turn everything off one by one to save power.

Is it caused by the hardware or software app issue to the limited resources for hang or reboot related?

I see some feedback that they are happy with the device...

i am thinking to get one but holding my decision now rclxub.gif

When talking about the new ICS.

You are talking about the system not being stable or hanging or the system freeze. You got to understand what is inside the system. I have read from an industry report saying iOS system has more system crash than Android. The reason behind is iOS is an close source system, not a lot of software engineer can see the actual source code. Which in return not many people can keep an eyed of the system weakness. Surprisingly Android is open source, Google make its source code open to public. More Software Engineer can see the system and detect more weakness and improve it. Furthermore, Android has been releasing a different interface these couple of years from Froyo to ICS. How these systems differ is very huge. Alot of third party software developer is also rushing to update their apps so it can be used and run on the newer system. All those system crash is the cause from the apps not properly updated to suit the newer system environment. Google is not going to ask these Software developers to update their apps code to suit the newer version because Google already make the system source code public. This has been confirmed from the recent keynotes from Google’s CEO Eric Schmidt at the Mobile World Congress 2012 at Barcelona. He hopes with the huge system crash report from consumer, the software developer themselves has no choice but to act on it. Time is the only problem on how fast can the problems be solve. Android need an eco-system like iOS which uses standard hardware and software. However, Android is different because it’s Open Source alliance. Standardization of hardware is still a long way to go. Further not all software engineer are perfect in detecting their own apps code weakness, whether its suit the new OS version or not. So, the next time your system crash, send a crash report to the software developer and tell them what happen. Ask them to check and resolve the problem.Post a commends on their apps listing at Google Play. They have to act on it because its their business reputation at stake.

erm one of my huawei honor is using the new ICS. Any1 knows how to display the contacts from phone contacts only rather than from both the SIM card and the mobile?

Problem is the phone cant display the incoming caller's name, just their number. But when i look for it back in the miss call/recent call, the name will reappear.

It just bother me because i have no idea who is calling me and i got panic when ppl on the other end know me but i dont recognize their name.

Another thing, when i look for contact, the number from both SIM card & mobile repeated which make my contact into a long list.

Any 1 can help?

For those who having unstable ICS, not sure this is an issue?

Ensure that the phone is on the original version of Huawei Update and not on any of the Crack version or root version of the firmware or else the update won’t be successful.

Only the device which ha model number U8860 can be applied with this firmware version, no other phone can accommodate this firmware.
