From my point of view, i guess that only happen in US or other country. In US, when u subscribe to the telco's u get free phones and most of the phone built is really stable and telco's will make sure it can last 1-2years depending on your usage..But it's by contract and way cheaper than what we have here in Malaysia. For upgrades issue, Telco's in Malaysia is still better than other country. Probably because the concept of Good Service After Sales. And for telco's in US, thats y people are eager to built and flash their own ROM because of the limitation from the Telco's itself. So, Malaysia still boleh maaa . I use HTC Hero last time, service not bad. Sent my phone to HTC Repair centre, and they flash the updated Stock ROM. For Blackberry, it's even better, Probably because of RIM. So free upgrades. and now, im using Huawei, it's more and more better, free download from the download site and easy upgrade.

So far, ICS Rom good. When u run it with 2g mode only, it can last up to 2 days on normal usage! superb! For the camera, frankly, it turns out to be very bad under bad lighting, but when it is bright sunny day~, u'll win!

i jz now play with my fren's honor, is very very cool, especially the ics face recognition, it can recognise face in instant, the reaction is so so fast, and never get wrong! so surprise XDDD
the battery my fren say can tahan for 3 days...
camera quality to me is quite good d, compare with previous huawei phone quality, it is a big improvement =D

So far, video capture works fine in good source of lighting...Low light will bring a lot of noises in the recorded video.

i am mid of decide what phone to get, samsung galaxy nexus and huawei honor, but hearing many good feedback from huawei honor, i dont know huawei is right choice? i really mind for the long term use and update.

galaxy nexus and huawei honor so much different in pricing. If u have the cash, go for galaxy nexus.

in term of pricing, what else you will consider nexus? but it seek huawei honor is good enough to handle daily use.

Huawei, with this Honor, is delivering superior product (specs) and superior support (ICS) right now.
If it's your first time getting an Android, I suggest take Honor and save the RM800 (iirc) towards an upgrade 2 years from now. Huawei Honor is way above for normal use and in my opinion, it sets the right bar/expectation for my next android phone.

From the youtube benchmark clips I posted way earlier, stock Honor is comparable with earlier dual core phones. I'm sure other Honor owners are also looking forward to custom roms from XDA.

I myself owned my first Android phone. I choose Huawei Honor is because of the battery life which is more important to me. My previous phone was Nokia E72 (also have very good battery life). But since I am more moving towards the Android platform, Honor seems to be the right choice. Nexus is more towards seasoned Android Users and unless u have the cash and dont mind the cardslot not available and no radio ...(a big letdown for me) I want the sd cardslot option and radio

Any users here having problem with the sensitivity of the phone? I have some issues that sometimes i tap nothing happens and sometimes when i tap once or just hold suddenly it clicked by itself a few times.

Is it my phone problem or the phone is like that? Or could it be the SP?

Wipe the screen a bit with a lint free cloths to remove fingerprints. Oily fingers sometimes disrupt the sensitivity

It's a new phone. Just got it yesterday. N i do wipe them often.

I don't have any problem with the sensitivity.

like mcsj said, oily fingerprint on specific spot. For your case, since you got it yesterday, is likely you haven't get used to the phone natural sensitivity yet. Mine is working as per usual with no SP.

I also feel sometimes my "new" Honor also didnt register my touch.... then after I wipe a it few times it using a lint free cloth to remove my messy fingerprint..its become ok already
