This phone battery life and sound quality ok?

Try post 69, 77 and 172 for my personal experience. I'll like to hear other people's experience with the battery life too.

My phone now is permanently on Live Wallpaper (Rays of Lightis awesome). Rays of Light on the lockscreen

Bought at RM999, which is the lowest sellers in BJ complex and Prangin (Penang) are willing to offer. Includes screen protector, earpiece, but no microSD. The phone can be gotten for RM870 in China I heard, but oh well..
Checked with service center, phone cover not here yet.

As other forumers mentioned, the recorded sound is incredibly soft. Tried video capture using different apps - same result.

Been using the phone for a few days, haven't noticed any other issues. Works great so far

Nice info on the battery life, thx. But the sound quality I meant was the music 1...not recording...ok or not?

In terms of playback music sound quality, no problems there. The default music app is loud and clear enough on headphones. Speaker playing back the music is very decent.

battery life ppl say not bad. But duno why mine is not that good. Im using data/wifi all the time. When im at home, i switch to wifi, when im out, i use data. I get about 8-9 hours per charge. Maybe my expectation is abit high la, since i never use a android before, all my previous phone are ios and nokia symbian.

I got mine at IMCC mines for rm999 also. With screen protector and 8gb memry card .

btw, anyone found casing for this phone yet? if dun have, i guess have to go online buy d.

hmmm,now those shop selling huawei honor is currently 2.3 Gingerbread unit without ICS ??
should i wait for the white colour honor that comes with ICS updated in box or buy the 2.3Gingerbread for self update to 4.0 on website. will the 4.0ICS unit releasing??

If you can wait, then wait until ICS comes out. I think right now not much accessories available for Honor yet.

My advice is better grab it now since the 2.3 Gingerbread was smooth & stable... Later use ICS 4.0 may facing alot of problem especially the software compatible problem... Let other try the official ROM first then only we follow....

I believe 2.3 more smooth and better than 3 or 4.

Any 3rd-party brand selling (e.g. Sun Global)?

Wow, this phone replaces Galaxy W as the best-bang-for-buck-under-1k phone. Higher camera MP count, higher screen reso, higher battery capacity, bigger screen, better design.

Does it have the annoying 3-tier memory thingie common in Samsung phones?
