guys, i'm choosing among Hankook V12 and N8000 for my 215/45/17 donuts..i wish to have better wet grip as my current dunlop SP Sport LM T03 original tyre from mazda not really tat good..

wat you guys think and suggestion? Hankook and nexen better than my current tyre?

My habit of driving, i travelling alot on highway to another state..so sometimes on heavy pour highway condition, my current dunlop give me skiing feeling..current tyre is bit noisy also..and i like to have some grip during corners..i'm not a speeder..but sometime take some challenges during corners..

hey guys just wondering when we go for a tire change, will they do balancing, alignment, chamber(kancil ada chamber ka?? hmm.gif) without us asking them to do/check??

if they do ada additional cost ka @ included in the tyre service..lets say change all 5 tyres.

If you buy a new set balancing is usually included (apart from valves which are 5 each). If you just want a tyre change then balancing and changing is 10 each. Alignment and chamber are I believe always optional, and you will have to pay for it.

Hi Newbie here...

I had done some studying.. the most close to a 185/60/r15 is the 205/50/r16. From what i know... it is very hard to find 185/60 tires...

Please advice me with the rims make/model which is durable and will not bengkok easily(no lower quality then the original Vios rims). Toyota Vios car here. Mostly Highway run....

Thanks and please advice.

Try GT Radial Champiro HPY. Should be around RM300 per donut. Nexen N800 not bad too. Hankook noisy lah bro.

Thanks bro for ur recommendation...i juz settle down with Goodyear Eagle F1 asymetric 2 215/45/17 size, price at RM450 per pc at USJ Quick Save include balancing and alignment.

It's really very much quieter compare my earlier original dunlop SP LM 703. as for biting ground and cornering..yet to test out...will comment in tyre review later on...

My original tyre size is 215/55/R17. Can I change it to 215/50/R17? Because car would look nicer with thinner tyre. Will it decrease the comfort a lot?

Hello Everyone,

Am surveying around for 205/50/R17 & 215/45R17 tyres.

Get these info:

215/45R17
Kumho Ecsta SPT - Rm290/piece
C drive 2 - RM350/piece
Continental MC5 - 380/piece

Want to survey for hankook V12 too since quite a lot of good feedback on this tire. Anyway, unable to find for 205/50R17 (I am currently using this size (Duro) and seem to me that this size is quite rare).

Hope to get some advice on these few tyres. Plan to change it this week.

Thanks!

I tried long distance before and its quite quiet. The grip is good and up to its reputation. A good budget performance tyre.
