Looking to replace my 2 years old Falken ZE912. Looks like almost 20% left. Was aiming at Archilles ATR Sports @ RM165 per donut for 195/55/15 but most shops say no more stock. Any good replacements for around less than RM200 budget per donut?

QUOTE(samwongjyhhorng @ May 18 2012, 10:16 AM) Much softer sidewall & better grip in both dry and wet. Definitely better comfort. Traction AA. Only thing I expect it to wear out sooner than the RE001.Not a single brand out there is selling 225/45R17 below 400 bucks anymore except Nexen. |

QUOTE(ernest0205 @ May 18 2012, 06:04 PM) ignore those China tyre or indo one, maxxis I pro with AA traction also less than rm400.know n8000 is cheaper than I pro,but I pro is not bad also.almost same price for budget performance. N8000 is 100% imported from Korea, as told by the shop. Was at the shop with a ex-Toyo C1S user on a Mitsu Lancer GT and even he's replacing his donuts with N8000.QUOTE(samwongjyhhorng @ May 18 2012, 08:50 PM) Yokohama C-drive2 is around RM380 per donut for size 225/45/R17 as well. Shop said quieter but grip sightly lesser than N8000.Was contemplating only C-drive2 or N8000 as the rest are above RM400. |

QUOTE(pds_disi @ May 19 2012, 09:27 PM) hi guys, i need some help on looking for new tyre GY F1 Asym2. Imported directly from Germany. PS3 is sorta overrated IMO. Driven in a car on both and my vote will be the GYsize: 215/45 R17 requirement: - not directional - good wet grip - budget around rm500+/- per donut - good cornering performance (but must within my budget) current i am looking at PS3 and Asym2, beside the 2 model, any other model recommended me to look into? anybody tried both before and know which is more suitable for my requirement? |

QUOTE(aliluya @ Jun 12 2012, 12:41 PM) guys, i'm choosing among Hankook V12 and N8000 for my 215/45/17 donuts..i wish to have better wet grip as my current dunlop SP Sport LM T03 original tyre from mazda not really tat good.. Try GT Radial Champiro HPY. Should be around RM300 per donut. Nexen N800 not bad too. Hankook noisy lah bro.wat you guys think and suggestion? Hankook and nexen better than my current tyre? My habit of driving, i travelling alot on highway to another state..so sometimes on heavy pour highway condition, my current dunlop give me skiing feeling..current tyre is bit noisy also..and i like to have some grip during corners..i'm not a speeder..but sometime take some challenges during corners.. |

QUOTE(thilak833 @ Sep 2 2012, 01:51 PM) You may try out GT Radial Champiro HPY. It's the flagship model from GT Radial and in the same league as the N8000. Costs about 350 per donut for 225/45R17. Not sure if they have for 215.Have done about 6k km on my ride and the silence, comfort and grip is just excellent. Most importantly it's affordable. You can check with Quicksave USJ. |
