Some word of advise. If you wanted to own Samsung flagship products, buy it before it reached 10 millions worldwide. Coz things will get change after that. tongue.gif

If you think the torch has a battery problem, you'll think the SGS2 is leaking. Trust me, the Torch is a good enough companion to the GTab10, you just need a new batt. Unless you don't plan to run around with the GTab.

I run both, you see. And at the end of the day, my Torch will have a helluva lot more batt left. My friend on the other hand has both the GTab10 and the SGS2, now he's planning to sell his Tab lol due to the fact that his SGS2 can already do 90% of what his tab does.

Plus, notifications seem to always be faster and more reliable on the BB, even if the apps all suck. Not that I'm steering you away from getting an Android phone, mind you, it's just that you already have a GTab and getting both is hugely redundant (almost as redundant as the iPhone + iPad combo, but Apple smartly made the iPad incapable of certain things so that the iPhone would complement it - which is fraud really but that's an entirely different story).

If you STILL want an Android phone, wait for the Prime. It's only a few months away after all.

Freaking heavy batt life test for the Momax complete. 6 hours with 5 hours screen on, video streaming, stuff downloading time.

Yes, xScope eats battery like no tomorrow. Really.

Thanks for the great feedback. This is exactly wat i need. A real life experience. I think i will wait for the nexus prime like wat u said. By then, if its expensive then only ill go with the sgs2 :-) . For now ill just replace the batterry :-)

i've seen you ask this question for some time. The definite answer for you is no. in fact i dont even notice any red light while making a call. of course my proximity sensor is working. If it does bother you, then send it to service center, if not then dont care, but it will drain your battery i can guarantee you that. I do know that the MIUI rom has a battery indication for the proximity sensor, so you can know if its really turning on by itself. Again i would suggest you also check your applications if there's any that's causing it.

Hi. May I know does anyone tried with the data stalling issue solution? *#301279# that 1? After I select the 2nd option which turn off HSUPA, the signal indicator changed to 3G. Idk but shudn't it be an H instead of 3G?

There is indeed a faint red light/indicator beside the secondary camera, when the proximity sensor is on. However I only notice this during calls, it doesn't turn on at other times.

Unfortunately, I've used up my digi data. Now being throttled at 128kbps. Haha. Watever speedtest oso useless. So even on HSPdA oso indicate 3G la right? But I tot the signal indicator shud b 3G, H and H+? But I know there is no H+ yet in malaysia except for u mobile in certain area. M I right?

Added on October 2, 2011, 3:30 amBtw there shud b speed difference in between 3G and HSPDA, right?

The phone will default to 3g until you start to use data. Then it will go up to H before starting downloading. That's why you might see a delay before data starts moving.

Nop. I tested ady, still no H. So the real situation is, I shud have H displayed even if I disable HSUPA only?
