There will be 9 Starter Multiplayer maps , including 'Operation Metro' and 'Caspian Border'
Theres 6 Modes for Multiplayer , Conquest 32 (PS3 & Consoles Only) , Conquest 64 (For PC) , Rush , Team Deathmatch , Squad Deathmatch and Squad Rush.
After an evolution of different type of classes shown in previous Battlefield titles , Battlefield 3 will only have 4 Classes ( Assault Medic , Engineer , Recon and Support)

congrats on the V3..so finally Open Beta is online today or should i have to wait another few more hours until is properly launched summore? i havent had enough sleep waiting for this one

the bf3 beta not up in origin for download yet? cant seem to find the download option

Wow your rig can run in mostly ultra setting? Then my Athton 635 Quad Core with HD5750 should run BF3 on par with your 30-40fps performance...but this is alpha though...final release MIGHT be different care..

finally i can play after 1 day wasted XD

quite ok lah, my rig can run med setting flawlessly which average 60% cpu usage, 70% of 4GB ram used.
for GC, for sure 150% lol.

1st time got stabbed by someone lol.

i love suppressing fire, tact light (really annoying) and fully customize weapon

Haven't tried it yet..too lazy to download..but does supressing fire makes your viision blur? what is tact light? is it true becoming assault still can heal other soldier?

hopefully my laptop can play this even on low.. else have to wait next year when i get home

wasted yesterday night for finding solution

mounted MG, hoyeah.

about tac light, it's really helps on CQB, silau wooo, seriously.

supressing fire, yeah, our vision will blurr, hard to target, pls note that not only MG, even rifle can supress them(got many time supress assist)
tact light, will blind ur enemy..and ur treammate if point at them, making impossible to shot the target, even im using ironsight cant hit them D:
and yeah, assault will become medic, MG for ammo

even on close beta i find it hard to join server that has a low ping...today open beta somemore...oh maiii....want to join server later is gonna be a pain in the ass...

go to asian region > fragnetics server
got a lot there but now (especiall 9pm above) all fullpacks

btw, watch out if suddenly u moving backward and someone stole ur dogtags

not including my sharp & shiny knife eh..

set everything to Ultra setting..the game is very smooth...but too many bug and glitch xD....cant wait for the full game....and battlelog look weird..=O

ahahha played last nite.....1st time jump in feels sooo noob coz dunno the map...after a few skirmishes i start to get the hang of it....i hv to say the maps are too small...but then again its rush mode.

and btw my rig can handle all high setting, with a few options on ultra (effects and world detail) and still can play with 40~50fps...a quick question tho, what version of directx is this beta on? 10 or 11?

last nite run fast2 towards attacker. found 4 camping behind rock.. dolphin dive and prone like snake, got 4 dogtags. so busy scoping until did not notice me knifing their comrades one by one.

Open Beta is for everyone... if u havent preorder you still can play.... but just till 10/10/2011

no there will be no patch....the purpose of a beta is to identify anything thats need to be patched before final release

just so u know, BC2 beta lasted more than a month, so theres bound to be a patch. Bf3 is only less than 2 weeks (11 days to be exact) so putting a patch would be pointless

Its pointless to call it a Beta as we barely have time to test out everything and the condition of the game is just terrible.



Caspian Border is awesome though, compared to shitty Operation Metro.

I think i kena tipu by DICE. This game suck.

Watch the Caspian Border video and tell me whether it sucks.

That map is far better than any BC2 map, so many vehicles and its big.

If BC2 Beta had Cold War, i wouldnt have bought it in the first place. Port Valdez is pretty good, IMO, as it feels like a mixture of traditional Battlefield and Call of Duty.

Operation Metro just reminds me how shitty Cold War is, maybe worse.

1 hour left... but seems like waiting for 1 day lol.... i already have the key but still cant play since last night... whenever i join the server, i get an error code 1.. pity me

having lotza issue with gc driver..

4gb 1333 kingston
leadtek 460 SLI
win7 64 ultimate N

has been using all sorta driver from nvidia which includes the beta driver mainly for bf3. both gc heats too fast, around 10 mins game freezes due to overheat gc. any1 knows why how?

bf3 is awesome btw
