The reviews on the Beta is pretty much mixed - - DICE delivering the multiplayer action BUT with plenty of issues.

Most common :
- Glitches ; players falling through the floor, players clipping through the wall, and apparently a funny "running slanted" and floating bodies
- Destruction ; eh? I am surprised. Apparently the destruction is nowhere close to BFBC2.
- Lag issues aplenty
- Only 1 map to try out
- Origin re-downloading the download / issues with game folders missing

Good side :
- Performance ; very scalable and apparently even a GTX 280 can run this smoothly at Medium at 1920x1080
- Sound effects ; impressively worked
- Visuals ; Medium settings looking great

At this rate, I think a patch on the day of release is to going to occur. I know it is an impressive game just from window gazing. Can't wait to try out the Beta.

abit worry of the finally release...the game seem alot of bug and their only have 1 month to fix ...

Any idea  can download 1st and play later? Because ima format my rig and upgrade my system hehe..

The game is really good, but clearly, it is not even ready for release.

Its way too buggy and lack of fundamental features.

Morgan of BF3Online snooped around in the Battlelog and BF3 Beta game files and discovered some interesting bits of information: a list of all of the maps in Battlefield 3. The maps have generic names (for example, Operation Metro is MP_SUBWAY, while Caspian Border is MP_FOREST) but nevertheless this is largely new information! not trying to scare you, but seems like I'm not the only one and I got the beta code, lagi wtf. No mood to play BF3 alr, somemore I got this shitty 1mbps line.

anyway, someone told me to copy the game from the distro, gamers dot com....dunno whether it'll work or not.

I've checked the Origin Games folder, and the BF3 files are there..the irony. Okay, will add you later

ummm..I just finished downloading yesterday night only, and then it restarted the download this morning. At first I did not plan to download it cause of my PMR which is next week, but then temptation is hard to resist   what is your connection speed? 20kbps+ is slow mang, I downloaded around 60kbps-90kbps, keep on fluctuating depending on the day. 1mbps user btw.

after the "operation Metro" loading screen where they show the picture,
the game turns black theni hear birds chirping and radio chatters
happens to quite a few servers ive played already
so far none is playable

I havent even finish download. Hope no redownload

eh bro, I found out the solution already just download the Nvidia BF3 Beta driver, then kaotim.

you my fren who dl at 20kbps...i shall pray u as god..and give u free dog tag wen bf3 is launch..xD
