One of the weakness in SLi setup is that the cards are too close together. Monitor both card's temperature, see if one of them is way higher than the other. If it is, then this card is not getting enough air due to being too close to the other

Unfortunately, there's no real solution to this, except to go for water cooling setup. You could use the 1st and 3rd PCIE-16 slot, but I doubt there's any LGA1156 motherboard with 3 PCIE 16 slots.

lol you forget to mention most important thing in SLI which is Micro stuttering.

Done a whole bunch of tests and research for Sli settings. those whose using Sli's should be aware of this.

Nvidia beta driver for bf3 is not stable for SLi. by using Nvidia inspector, found that bf3 profiles for Sli is not optimized for OC'ed GCs. yeap, overclocked cards (which includes factory-OC cards). mine heats up too fast and crashed before, same goes with some other Sli users worldwide experienced the same. What i did was to retuned the clock to standard non-OCd gcs (675Mhz for me 460gtx sli) and solved everything. this probably due to bad nvidia card profiling. dun forget to force alternate frame rendering 2 smile.gif . ran on ultra quite good but i preferred low setting since cant spot ppl nicely on ultra. laugh.gif

just hoped that the released ver of bf3 would have no bugs.
