i tried to purchase my flight tickets online using AMEX but it is failed... any idea ? is it advisable using AMEX for online transaction since the security is not as good as mastercard ? thanks !

it's up to your choice
but bear in mind that using CC for flight ticket will be charge for processing fee

MAS and Fireflyz didn't have processing fee.. smile.gif
But any idea why the transaction failed if using AMEX ? It mentioned the CC validation number is not valid.. rclxub.gif

For Amex, the CC# is 4D at the front of the card.

Yes. Happen to me before. Always failed in online transaction because wrong validation code. The code is in front of your card not at the back like Mastercard and Visa.

dont worry icon_rolleyes.gif

usually it will takes up to 3-5 days to have the payment recorded in history transaction.

as long as ur payment is not later than due date, then all will be ok notworthy.gif

Thanks Erry, hopefully they could update their system as efficient as Citibank/OCBC.

Under the Credit Card Account, you can go to M2U History to print your receipt.

Ronnie, I clicked the M2U History, it's still showing blank.

The future payment you mean is advance payment for the credit card, is it?

This is incorrect.

M2U CC future payments are done in the afternoon/evening of the date selected (assuming there is enough to cover the payment). When done, payment will show up immediately under Savings & Current accounts (recent transactions). Credit cards (transaction history) will only update the next day as the system is updated after midnight.

But you cannot avoid it since we have limited choices for low cost airlines.

If you want to avoid the convenience fee, then use Fund Transfer method direct from your saving/current account. cry.gif

my payment appears at credit card's history transaction usually after 3 days. but the posting date then will be same as transaction date. haha

Wait till 2013 when the open skies agreement comes in effect. Singapore Airlines or Thai Airways (or any other Asean carriers) can fly domestically in Malaysia if they want to thumbup.gif

Do you think gov will allow foreign carriers to fly domestically in msia ? back to topic, just use AMEX lar, although the stupid so call processing fee is rm16.00, if ur flight ticket cost rm400, book it on weekend, and u will get rm20 cash back from it

The posting date is accurate on a T+1 basis, meaning if the posting date is 1 Nov, it will show in transaction history on 2 Nov. Maybe got something wrong with yours?

All CC from Maybank shared the same credit limit. If you have CC from Maybank Islamic, then it'll have its independent limit.
