You cannot have 2 debit cards for same CASA. But you can open different type of CASA, eg yours is UnionPay Savings Account, not Generic/Basic SA.

PB Petron Visa Debit is not available at branch, must apply like credit card (but no need income document). I got it in 2 weeks, card directly from Card Centre (same like credit card).

oh i also had difficulty opening Union Pay account back then. Same story like you, but I managed to big them.

Try both same and remote branch. Now got new rule from Bank Negara to make it harder to open accounts to avoid eMule.

I got it some years ago, with a tourist Visa from China.

THEN me consider lucky. very easy get UNION.
now let see see for normal saving

Ya UnionPay SA is better than Basic/Generic CASA.
Some months I earned RM10 monthly bonus. (But now very short term fund are kept in TNG / GX / Aeon Bank)

which menu in SC's app/website can I make my Debit Card "contactless"

Try to use the Maybank Debit Card Paywave at 99 Speedmart outlet... Got rejected @ reverse transaction 2x... Saw the machine, keep loading 60s then Reverse. Touch again, loading 60s then Reverse...

Thinking is Maybank Issues. Tried another Bank Debit Card. Same bloody 60s Reverse transaction.

Fed Up & crowd / Q build up behind. Dig my pocket to find some hard cold cash. Managed to paid everything...

My Speedmart 99 uses Hong Leong terminal. If yours is same, maybe it's HL problem.

Usually on techs have these weird problems.

Registered via Pbe (code: PBVD) on 1st July.

It is safer to register via 68333.

May key in inaccurate card number/ phone number at pbe.
