QUOTE(tan_aniki @ Nov 3 2018, 02:18 PM) thanks for the info, i just top up RM350 without thinking twice, hope still able to get it although now already 3rd of Nov, will try again on 1st Dec. I also just spent today. You look see jkngo spend on Sept 23 still got chance. Maybe debit card less noticeable.(why not RM333.34 instead of RM350, cos Big Points calculate for every RM50 top up) In fact, I won JomPay with HSBC cash back when I swiped once around 26th and again on 30th. I also surprised. |

QUOTE(joshhd @ Nov 5 2018, 12:50 AM) Can anyone recommend, which bank's debit card (savings account) can: i) https://www.samsung.com/my/samsung-pay/bank...chant-partners/Priority: i) supports Samsung Pay ii) able to perform unlimited times of contactless payment without requiring the user to enter PIN upon reaching certain threshold (e.g. 6 times, or 10 times). iii) able to perform unlimited ATM withdrawals without any surcharges or need to pay annual fees to get unlimited withdrawals. Optional, but if have, it will be better: a) no card annual fee or whatsoever b) can increase contactless payment limit from RM 250 to higher. ii) This is a security feature of contactless cards. iii) Ambank basic savings account. https://www.ambank.com.my/ambank/SiteAssets...ebitCardPDS.pdf. But Ambank is not partner of Samsung Pay. a) Ambank basic savings account. b) This is a security feature of contactless cards. |

QUOTE(joshhd @ Nov 5 2018, 06:01 PM) Err... I mean, debit cards that can fulfil all of the 3 priorities. Not one by one. I thought you wanted all 3. But ii cannot be fulfilled because it's a compulsory security feature.I know it is a security feature among all banks, but I believe some banks/cards provides the option to disable that security feature? Among all, the top priority is looking for debit card that able to perform unlimited contactless payment with Samsung Pay, and do not need to enter PIN to refresh the threshold. |

QUOTE(confusedway @ Nov 9 2018, 04:57 PM) Hi Sifu https://www.paynet.my/personal-fpx.htmli was offer to apply this new Aeon member Plus Debit card https://www.aeoncredit.com.my/aeon-cards/ae...-plus-visa-card the CS i check with confirm can reload the card using credit card at counter (3-4 different cs in different locations) but when i go to counter all the staff says cash only... went to customer service counter say can reload with credit card using their Aeon App... after register only find out can reload using FPX (means cash from your account la) Any sifu here have successfully reload it with credit card? QUOTE Payment Options Use Internet Banking to make payment from Current, Savings or Credit Card account. Click here for list of Sellers that accept payment from Credit Card account. So you need to try FPX and see if it works with credit card. So far, all my FPX transactions do not accept credit cards, but FPX themselves claim that some do. If that doesn't work, I would try AEON credit card > AEON Wallet > AEON Prepaid card. The FA-Q says it works : https://www.aeonwallet.com.my/faq. For me, it's just a hassle transferring money from 1 to another. https://www.aeoncredit.com.my/aeon-cards/ae...-plus-visa-card did not put credit cards as an option though. The last time I check the RCB, requirement was around 200k-250k. Once balance fall below the threshold, they charge you for RCB. |

QUOTE(MilesAndMore @ Dec 14 2018, 09:40 PM) Believe it has to do with Public Bank does not issue pre-approved credit card to Red Carpet Banking customers. So at least the RCB debit card gives you some form of cash back and also lounge access (though in very limited number). Ohh. I didn't know got such thing. That explains how a friend of mine got his Hong Leong cards without any supporting docs. This post has been edited by beLIEve: Dec 15 2018, 03:14 AM |

QUOTE(ericlks91 @ Dec 28 2018, 05:35 PM) On a side note: He told me always receive calls to offer credit cards but all want docs. He only interested if no need supporting docs.If one doesnt have income statement and are loaded, he can easily get a CreditCard with better benefits. There are many ways to get CC without income statement So yes, i still think PB is cheapskate hehe What way? The only way I know is place 1m fixed deposit, which our guru explained returns 36k interest = can hold cards from more than 2 banks. Edit : oh yeah, I forgot - pledge FD. QUOTE(ericlks91 @ Dec 28 2018, 06:28 PM) That's right bro ahhhh yeah. But he didn't want to do that. So it's always "either you give me unconditionally or I don't want".Other than that, one can provide other sources of income through bank statement - eg. rental income. Also EPF/savings/FD for retirement age can be accepted as well at the bank's discretion. |

QUOTE(hurtedheart @ Jan 4 2019, 07:39 PM) Is it if the debit card was not changed to the one with "my debit" logo, then the internet banking will be freeze? I am able to login into my SCB account but can't perform any transaction. Tried transfer money from MBB, HLB to the SCB account but in vain too. But even my SCB account internet banking has been freeze (my assumption only, not sure if its true), isn't it funds still can be received? I think I've read some possible security breach at the std chartered credit card tread. Check it out. Maybe that's why your account was frozen |

I didn't participate the govt one either though I was really keen to explore prepaying assessment tax by splitting across several months. This month a bit late already when me assessment bill came, so keep for next month.
QUOTE(MGM @ Jan 18 2019, 02:51 PM) you have 100 bucks govt cash back? i.e. 10 govt bills > $30 each ? Otherwise should be Online/Overseas.This post has been edited by beLIEve: Jan 18 2019, 03:13 PM |
