I receive every month allowance from mara for my study. Let say if I close the account and re-open, fuhh so many hassle so I decided to wait my sponsor term to finish. As for debit card, I already own mbb, pbb and alliance, which I think enough already   some more own cc

I recently got charged by maybank on the RM8.48 annual fee for debit card.
I hold a M2U saving account & a basic saving account, if i usually draw money from my M2U saving account do i still need to pay for the RM8.48 unlimited withdrawal? As far i know M2U is entitled for unlimited time withdrawal. Your advice is much appreciated.

That should be enough for me.. any chance convert to the account without changing account number?

If i do draw more than 8 times per month, will the charges kick in? although im drawing from my M2U Saver account?

Just a word of caution, applying for ATM debit card replacement through Maybank2U is not as simple as it seems, i experienced the card replacement lost while being delivered to my house.

Heard from Maybank CS, that there are numerous cases of card replacement not received by customers.

Better go to the branch to change the card, it only take 20 - 30 minutes.

But why both of them can't use in Google play store???

Maybank debit card has pay wave function. How do I tell which account would they debit from when I make a purchase since I have 2 savings account I.e basic savings account and m2u savers linked to the debit card. Tq

I see. I've been keeping a min 5k most of the time to avoid the withdrawal fee. From your statement, since i'm being charged rm8 anyway, there is no more need for the 5k.

Even if I signed they can always forge it - how hard is it to forge a signature? It's not as if the cashiers are all professional handwriting analysts

The pin & pay debit card referred is the one with "my debit" logo on it? When is the due date to change? Sorry, I have SCB debit card but hardly use it, not aware of the changes required.

My CIMB saving account is a basic savings account.

Yeah, there should not be any annual fee imposed on basic savings account. Who knows that CIMB still insists to impose the hefty annual fee (one of the highest annual fee) on CIMB debit cards linked to the basic savings account?
