No. You will not be charged any debit card annual fee if you are very sure that your CIMB Bank BSA is the non-fee option.
That is some very wrong information there. I've been using a CIMB Bank non-fee BSA for two years already. From the very beginning they already issued a CIMB Bank debit MasterCard and I was never charged an annual fee. Last year I changed my CIMB Bank debit MasterCard to the new PIN & PAY CIMB Bank debit MasterCard with MyDebit and they still didn't charge me any annual fee.

If you read a couple of posts back, another old regular user alexwsk has this CIMB Bank non-fee BSA too and he was never charged any annual fee too.

Ya sorry I think I might be wrong too. Thanks for the heads up. I think I got confused with the other savings acc which charged both annual fee for acc and debit card.

Hi all, wanna ask, anyone here kena the case like someone bank in a big amount to your account and then withdrawal/transfer it even more than the bank in amount and without you know it? i got this case for Public Bank Debit card. happened on 3/4/2017, now only know the case.

For this year ? Yes. Just a few months ago. And I'm not the only one here using a non-fee CIMB Basic Savings Account with CIMB debit MasterCard and not paying any annual fee for the debit card. If my memory serves me correctly,  Alexwsk is using the same account issued with CIMB debit MasterCard and he has also repeatedly confirming here that he had never paid any annual fee for his CIMB debit MasterCard.

Im still using old CIMB card.  Planning to change it to debit card now.  Which card I should choose to avoid this RM15 annual fee.

Another thing which PB Debit Card does not have annual fee.

I've just tried paying the income tax through BYR Hasil with PB Debit card but comes with a 0.8% surcharge. Hmm, thought they shouldn't charge any surcharge on debit cards payment. Anyway I'll still pay twice next month to get the gov. cash back.

The balance of the tax balance, will pay through FCB cc in May to get the 10% cash back.

CIMB main hotline cannot call, tried for hours.
eventually i sent email. their service is really bad

edit: able to call their preferred line, not the consumer number. they will ask questions to verify its you then enable it
