QUOTE(kerolzarmyfanboy @ Jan 1 2019, 12:36 AM) guys, i require help regarding CIMB Debit Mastercard I wanted to do payment via mastercard for a shopping site, but though the checkout page say the payment failed, amount is still deducted anyway from my account (Current balance say RMX,XXX but available balance already RMXX.XX and I received SMS saying my bank acc deducted). Meaning the debit mastercard payment is still hanging? Will it be returned to my bank acc later? I've already contacted CIMB CS, they just told me to visit nearest branch tomorrow and fill a form. The fund shall be released back to your account in 7-10 days if the merchant don't claim it. Dispute only if it is posted (ie claimed by merchant), it is now "floating"/pending.

Cause I don't think I'll be withdrawing this bank that often... So if bank account is more than 5k then there won't be withdraw fees after the fifth time right? Yes

QUOTE(Runshaw @ Jan 13 2019, 10:03 AM) The rhb debit card spend rm30 x 4 for Rm30 cash back , does it include Bigpay transactions as qualified retail spending? Called cs and they seems blur. Email takes forever to reply. Gosh! Not difficult to find 4 places to swipe, eg pump petrol, pay utility bills, phone bills. Don't waste time to look around for answers. Most likely NO for Bigpay, as it was excluded from RHB CC RM270 rebate (as at April-Oct 2018)

QUOTE(drbone @ Jan 16 2019, 10:17 AM) Which utility bills and through which portal ? Able to use get the “salary” cashback if I use myTNB app? MyTNB should be OK. But find 3 other places to swipe today (4th month period beginning yesterday). Avoid 4 transactions under same place, avoid Bigpay or Govt-related transactions. I paid RM30.05 to SESCO-EC for electricity, RM30.10 to Payonline-Telekom for Unifi and 1 Shell station and 1 Petronas station.

QUOTE(drbone @ Jan 17 2019, 12:00 AM) How about boost app reload? See if anybody tried it on 15/10 and 15/11 and got the "salary". Spend RM120+ to get RM30, the return rate is very good, so I won't take risk on something I don't feel comfortable!

QUOTE(truefamily&me @ Jan 21 2019, 07:17 AM) I not eligible to get . I can use prepaid debit also can . No rebate for local spending. But if you are paying RM12 annual fee (if AF RM8 not eligible) then you may get 0.5% rebate from foreign transactions (note: after 2%+ Forex commission). [RHB Debit] You just reload boost using RHB Debit, no rebate from RHB, but you get shake rewards from Boost. Bigpay is good for you only for purchase of AirAsia tickets. QUOTE(Mr.Weezy @ Jan 20 2019, 10:44 PM) Update on me trying to waive debit card RM8 annual fees Didn't work out as the account that I have is not BSA, it is called Maybank One Personal Savers Account I remember back when I was 18 , I said I want to open savings account at the branch thought they will gimme the most basic one, manatau they gimme something complicated like this account that I have where the AF cannot be waived as it is part of the T&C and before this, I went to apply for a MU debit card from Maybank to replace my existing one, they charged me RM12 for it ?! I thought RM12 only charged when my old debit card is lost/stolen/damaged Conversion cost RM12, not FOC.

QUOTE(applesmiley @ Feb 15 2019, 02:02 PM) Can we split payment for the assessment using 2 cards? For example, assessment is RM300, for the purpose of the CB campaign, I pay RM30 with PBB and the remainder with MBB? Most of the city/municipal councils don't allow it. Ask the cashier. Why not PB RM30 X10? This post has been edited by ClarenceT: Feb 15 2019, 02:22 PM
