Minimum balance in SA is RM20.
But opening is a few hundred RM, deposit RM500(+RM8 AF) then withdraw RM480 from ATM loh.

I thought no AF? Unless it's the UnionPay version which I'm still in dilemma but it seems the normal Lifestyle card has more promos. Moreover, if I were to use UnionPay feature that will be when I travel to China but for that I only use Alipay and WeChat Pay these days. Hence, I will go for the normal version I guess. Any thought?

Alright, RM 500 is not an issue just want to know how much to prepare in advance. laugh.gif

I read it's still available: https://www.pbebank.com/pdf/Cards/pds/pds-lifestyle.aspx

Recently I opened SA with HLB and CIMB, paid RM 20 for each account. Just for eFD purpose if there's any good deal. For PBB, it's mainly for the promos. tongue.gif Since there's a branch across my house, then just walk there to open one. laugh.gif

Remember call the branch first to confirm the Visa card stock availability before you go.
Last time my friend can't get the Visa lifestyle debit card due to out of stock

Thanks for the advice! Since it's just 3 minutes walk from my house, I will drop by and ask before opening an account with them.

I'm currently working abroad in Europe, and want to spend some of my ringgit in Maybank . Is BigPay currently the best debit card for overseas spending? or are there any more debit cards comparable to BP ? maybe credit cards ?
