Get CIMB kwik card. No annual fee. It is pure online account with mastercard ability.  Registration is free and online, RM10 for physical card.
Just tested it is working with steam, paypal, itunes etc.

OPPPS.. you must be 18 and above to apply.

So, does it means any funds transfer into one account can only be done via online banking?
Just want a confirmation.
Thanks in advance.

Just notice this debit card, 1% cash rebate. not bad for a debit card!
Annual fee rm12, spend 1200 can cover the annual fee already.

Is it true that CIMB debit card is not equipped for online transaction? Been trying to pay at Lazada Malaysia so many times. Want to grab Monday's promo 10% off if paying using mastercard

No point I switched from normal CIMB ATM to debit card if like this. Since already have Maybank debit card.

Has any sifu use their Maybank Debit VISA card for overseas transaction?

I contact them, their customer service said the currency exchange rate is determined by VISA at its absolute discretion. This is normal.
Reference: http://www.maybank2u.com.my/WebBank/tnc%2028022011.pdf

However they said they DO NOT charge any transaction / admin exchange fees. This is a bit hard to believe.

As I know, VISA for sure will charge BANK itself around 0.15~1% fees for any overseas transaction. Reference: http://usa.visa.com/personal/card-benefits...aq.jsp#anchor_5

Normally BANK will transfer this 0.15~1% fees to customer. For example, Standard Chartered even charge VISA user 3%. Please refer to https://www.sc.com/my/cb/fees_and_charges.pdf
(Search for "Overseas transaction charges")

What I want to ask is, is Maybank really DO NOT charge customer at all, even Maybank itself already charged by VISA?

Or they just simply playing words game? Actually the fees will be campur together with transaction amount in the statement and thus will not appear separately in the statement, so they say they don't charge? Any sifu can assist?

As reference, below is VISA daily exchange rate website:-
http://usa.visa.com/personal/card-benefits...-calculator.jsp

I found VISA Malaysia website - Exchange Rate below
http://www.visa.com.my/travel/currency.shtml
However it eventually lead to USA website, so I assume Malaysia follow USA exchange rate.
