Anyone noticed the time loads slower when you press the sleep button? Usually it appears immediately, after Mango, it takes about half a milisecond to load.

something weird here.. i have 300+ ringtones. imported 50+ into Music.

But some of the ringtones is missing or Zune cant read it.

My ringtones confirm no problem, use the same software to modify & MP3Tag to rename. cannot be wrong but its just weird.

I'm a little disappointed with Mango. While I love the task switching and all, some of the CRITICAL issues have not been addressed, namely the USSD menu problem and Live Messenger limitations.

Hi your ringtone needs to be less than 40 seconds (i.e. 39 seconds or lesser) and below 1 MB in size. It also needs to be categorized as Ring Tones, and not Ringtones.

if not mistaken HTC Compass can only work on Mango.

you might have to manually flash back to official 7004 RUU and start from the fresh zune update.

yeah, somethin have to do with regional setting.

what is your region?? if US should be able to view the albumart on lock screen.

wow??!! why you have to carry 300 ringtones??? why not pick only few ringtones that you likes that would save some spaces.

found it, under the update, got my NoDo backup. reverted to NoDo for presentation purpose.

just make sure your NoDo 7932 chevron stay unlock before you proceed to 7403 then 7220.

when i was on 7932 my chevron is unlock then i upgrade to Leak PreMango 7712 lucky me chevron still there, i straight jump to Mango 7720. now unlock.

yup, that's the only way. i've gave up, its only an album. too hassle to recreate an account, i believe matter of time xda will comeup with this enable all region to show album.

My ringtones size range from 300kb - 500kb. length 20 or 30 secs. max.

I regretted copying the whole ringtone folder into Music folder to sync. eventhough i remove ringtone folder from Music folder, ALL my ringtone sync earlier will not be deleted. and the worst part is....the damn Ringtones page is not SORTED by alphabetically order. imagine going thru 300+ ringtones. NIGHTMARE!

Added on September 29, 2011, 2:10 am@evilpuppy i created ringtones many years back...in think 2007. over the years, i didnt delete any of the ringtones. first 2 years..i set at 30secs. after that...i set to 20secs.

my NoDo is confirm unlock because I always sideloading apps. do i need to check first after 7403? then if still unlock, proceed with 7720?

that's the part where you have to do alot of edit to each track with number asign using the MP3Tag apps.
smartphone aint smart after all.

did you put all your ringtones into newly create folder or you just throw all 300 ringtones into Music directory?

you may try your luck once 7403 try check your sideload stuff still working? if yes then try 7720. i cannot assure will it still unlock because i m from 7403 to 7712 > 7720.

managed to force the update. got the update button but now it says need update my zune first. hmm.

create new folder of course...i dont wanna get confuse.LOL. MS should group ringtones as 1 category instead of merging with Music category. hope that future update includes Group Ringtones


BTW. WhatsApp do not support group chat. couldn't find the group feature or invite contacts. already 335am. what a night. *yawn*

Finally Got my mozart on Mango.

I successfully updated my Mozart by first resetting my phone.

Plugged into computer, update straight away available.

it took four hours to finish the update with my phone phone data plan speed.

Anyway, got it done. SWEET

let's discuss latest feature on mango. what the first diff u found compare to windows 7?

U will loose ur unlock when u update to 7712 usually ... so to keep unlock try following this thread

if u loose the unlock when u update to 7712, u have to rollback to NoDo n do the unlock again & follow the above thread again ... I was stuck with no unlock last time so i revert & did the unlock, upgrade for at least 3-4 times

nope the attachment fails everytime no matter whatever connections i used n even on NoDo
maybe the off exchange server is crazy since it work well with ios or android ...

I think the current version of WhatsApp just barely works with minimal features. Quite slow and unresponsive, hope it will get updated often since now everyone have mango already. My guess is they just want to make the basic features work first for early mangoers.
