MP3Tag is a good software. I set RINGTONES for Artist, Album Artist & Album. It helps to segregate songs & ringtones. i did this for my old WM6.5 device.

wait...my ROM version is 7392. that means i have to upgrade twice? from 7392 -> 7403 and then from 7403 to 7720?

Updating to 7720 now but 7403 update took me about 20-30 minutes

Tips: for those ppl who get error for FB Chat, you dont have to remove FB. all you need to do is go to Settings -> email+accounts. tap and hold Facebook, then press SYNC. it works for me.

something weird here.. i have 300+ ringtones. imported 50+ into Music.

But some of the ringtones is missing or Zune cant read it.

My ringtones confirm no problem, use the same software to modify & MP3Tag to rename. cannot be wrong but its just weird.

My ringtones size range from 300kb - 500kb. length 20 or 30 secs. max.

I regretted copying the whole ringtone folder into Music folder to sync. eventhough i remove ringtone folder from Music folder, ALL my ringtone sync earlier will not be deleted. and the worst part is....the damn Ringtones page is not SORTED by alphabetically order. imagine going thru 300+ ringtones. NIGHTMARE!

Added on September 29, 2011, 2:10 am@evilpuppy i created ringtones many years back...in think 2007. over the years, i didnt delete any of the ringtones. first 2 years..i set at 30secs. after that...i set to 20secs.

create new folder of course...i dont wanna get confuse.LOL. MS should group ringtones as 1 category instead of merging with Music category. hope that future update includes Group Ringtones


BTW. WhatsApp do not support group chat. couldn't find the group feature or invite contacts. already 335am. what a night. *yawn*

@evilpuppy yup. Artist, Album Artist, Album & Genre all set to Ringtone except title. anyway, i dont care anymore...just wait for solution to delete unwanted ringtones. haha....thought syncing is the same as Music sync. nvm la. live with it first.

@DaRkZoNe mine is worse than you. anyway, send to HTC Service for repair. Damage is RM580.00. Warranty still intact unless you send to 3rd party for repair. I sent my for repair and it was done in 2 days.

true..but EDGE is kinda slow at times. my options is charge the phone in office & car.

my WhatsApp is fine though. sometimes abit slow in receiving notification...maybe 5~8 mins difference but bearable.

imagine telling ppl "i have a monster in my pocket" LOL!!!!

Some bug I encountered with Mango:-
1) Keyboard. In the middle of typing, the keyboard disappear.

2) Bing. I can only see 2 icons (Vison & Voice). Based on some screen capture, I can see 4 icons.

3) Battery. Charged my phone for more than an hour but the bar remained stagnant. Reboot my phone and it still show the same. Shut-down phone, remove battery and boot-up again. Battery bar show almost complete.


WhatsApp bug:-
1) When I tapped a contact under Chats, it tend to hang and kick you out to Home screen. 2nd attempt normally works.
