This mozart lik my old phone when wthout internet, mostly its apps nid connection all the tim, n my mozart hard to connect with wifi

my hd7 keep on restarting itself for past 2-3 days. today only 5 times oredi. this happen after i install 6-7 new apps. but normal apps la like news, sports etc. no games. anybody have an idea why?

WhatsApp updated to version 1.3.2.

Still a bit lag and still no group chat initiation/setting.

indeed the push notification improved a lot. it shown 1.3.2 at my end.

no all issue related to HTC driver. might cause by other issues.

Now mango cn still use chevron lik b4?

well, better than not receiving notification at all... next update i believe they will improve group chat.

my version still 1.1, nvrm ... as long it can receive once message sent.
earlier 1.0 ~ 1.1 version lag like shit. receive only after 45min sent out.

yeah.. the push msg-ing realli improves alot.. but stil abit laggy la..
hopefully they fix it on the next updates fast.. its a very usefull apps..

Hey, I'm interested in the WP platform but i have a few questions i would like to ask.

Is the mozart a good buy? I read here there were some screen unresponsive and battery life issues. Has these been solved?
Is mango 'officially' supported by mozart?
Mozart has reached end of life.. Is it still available or is there an alternative coming soon with around the same price

for maxis 3G activation. u can use *136# but again. i am not sure SIM application work on Mango or not. or else, u phone need to be chevron unlock to sideload an XAP to make it work.

unresponsive screen some are due to screen protector. its advisable not to use screen protector on mozart. and also it can be resolve by pressing the power button to go standby mode. press again and unlock. everything will be normal back. it wasnt a very big issue for me.

for a smartphone with mAh as low as 1230. for me... its reasonable for that battery life i must say. unless u change to higher capacity(mAh) battery. there's a 1850mAh sunglow battery can use to replace mazrt battery. but u have to do some modification on the battery itself. result of 1850mAh can stay around 30% improvement compare the original.

all wp7 phone no matter what brand are now officially support mango.

its still available in the market but its has very limited stocks and those shop might rise the price since its limited stocks.

WP7 and WP7.5 still does not support SSID codes yet.. u could however use your dell streak to activate your 3G using the SSID.. then transfer the SIM back into the Mozart.. the Mozart will auto-configure all settings needed... sorry for your loss bro...

Mozart is really a good buy, and a good starter phone for new WP users.. bought mine new for RM1.7k, HTC last time selling for RM2199.. now only RM799..

as for battery life issue, i changed mine to Momax battery, currently giving me almost twice the usual life (same amount of usage).. as for unresponsive screen, it rarely happens... and if it does, it's not really a big problem.. just hit the power button to switch off the screen and hit it again to turn it back on and everything would be ok...

the Mozart is still available, but if u have some extra cash, get the HTC Radar instead.. same size, same processor.. different camera (8MP w/xenon flash on Mozart - 5MP w/LED flash on Radar).. not that it's any better anyway.. the Radar has Internet Tethering (u can share your 3G internet connection) and also a front facing camera (all of which the Mozart does not).. and it comes pre-installed with WP7.5 Mango...

yeah. sucks. i cant even check my 3g status . no short codes i think.


so lame. android had like 10 updates and its almost superb but wm7 is so laggy. you cant send important msg with whatsapp bcos its unstable.

fb just got updated less than a couple months back... twitter haven't.. but still, both are already well integrated in WP7.5.... i don't really use the standalone apps anymore, i just use the built in ones... or i just open it in IE...

Can use FB in IE9... but it's not touch friendly and it's ugly as hell. I really hope FB app will be updated to be on par with Android and iOS.

The problem with FB app is that, it is developed by Microsoft, not FB itself. This is the same problem we face in Windows Mobile 6.x
