So Nokia Lumia 800 will be sporting the N9's chasis, but with a smaller screen of 3.7" because they need to fit in the hardware buttons.
Lumia 700 will look cheap, so it will probably be cheap too. Around RM1.3k? The N900 is not confirmed, people are saying it's a hoax. But if it's true, it should be the flagship of Nokia with a 4.3" screen with ClearBlack AMOLED display. I was hoping for a Nokia Windows Phone with N9's chasis, but a little bit bigger to fit the gorgeous 3.9" screen with the hardware buttons lol. Not sure if I will like the 3.7" screen, cause I'm using the massive 4.3" screen of HD2 now. |

How is Nokia not different? They are bringing superior hardware that none of the other hardware manufacturers can come close to in terms of quality and also useful apps that are WAY better than what HTC/Samsung have to offer.
Nokia is essentially bringing their capable GPS navigation software for FREE. What do HTC and Samsung have? HTC Hub? Feels cheap and can already be done better with other free apps. Of course, people can expect more differentiation from Nokia, but that would be a bad strategy for Microsoft if it gives Nokia too much privileges because then other manufacturers like HTC and Samsung will back away from Windows Phones as they know they have no chance at all to compete with Nokia. At least what Nokia is doing now is bringing superior hardware and apps compared to other manufacturers, something that other manufacturers can do too if they invest as much money as Nokia in Windows Phones. This definitely creates a competitive environment where companies will invest more into the Windows Phone platform and hopefully it can catch up with iOS within the next two years. |

Nokia's map now available for other devices as well, they can access it.
Well, maybe I've been putting too high of expectation on this partnership, but too little things that fail to impress majority of people outside. |

QUOTE(AlOnE89 @ Oct 26 2011, 05:55 PM) So..Only two freaking leaked "new" devices being announced? What did you expect when Microsoft sets what requirement the hardware should have for WP7? There's not much they can do hardware wise. Or did you expect them to come out dual cores etc?No new flagship device(s)? Specs that are horribly identical to rivals? No customization on the OS when Nokia's given privileges? So what makes Nokia think they would get people to buy their product? What's so special with Microsoft's partnership? They got not much differences with other OEM(s) and they freaking dump ur own original platform? You failed badly Nokia, you failed so badly even with such a good chance to strike back. Good luck for not getting abandoned in 2 years time. "My d*** is bigger than yours" argument doesn't mean much in WP's world for now. Because all of them are born the same almost. The platform which was dragging them further into the ground? They are just dumping their high ends platform. For the lower end, they still use their own. S40, that Anna/Belle.. that's still their bread and butter. |

I'm sorry but i'm not expecting on better processor, so you can keep ur so called d*ck back :S"My d*** is bigger than yours" argument doesn't mean much in WP's world for now. What I'm trying to interpret is, what so great about the "new devices" that being leaked months ago? You can just ignore me, I'm not picking any war here I'm a typical Nokia's fan+whinner, and this is forum so I have rights to voice out |
