I seriously think the Facebook app needs to be updated to be on par, feature wise with the Android and iPhone equivalent.
As of right now, I couldn't find a reason to even use the Facebook app.

I can't use U Mobile's *118# also, using Mango RTM on HD2. Back then I was using pre-NoDo the menu works, it's just that you'll have to manually key in each key. But Mango RTM doesn't work, so that's a little bit of a blunder.

Will Omnia W defeat HTC Radar if it is sold at the same price at RM1.4k?

I don't think Microsoft will come out with dual core LTE phones any time soon. The earlier also the end of next year, considering they are focusing on Tango now to bring their phones to lower-end markets. Hopefully they will incorporate those technologies into Apollo.

Anyone able to access the new HTML5 Facebook webpage?
I tried m.facebook.com, and it only shows the plain old version.
I tried touch.facebook.com with mobile version preference, only facebook logo on it.
I tried touch.facebook.com with desktop version preference, can see stuff, but nothing happens when I touch at links. And the interface doesn't look like the new HTML5 site.

QUOTE(fulat @ Oct 11 2011, 07:08 PM) SETTING, APPLICATIONS, INTERNET EXPLORER, at Website preference select DESKTOP VERSION. Delete history and go in www.facebook.com again. by doing that.. u lost the browser watch youtube option. www.facebook.com in desktop version brings me to the normal Facebook page I'd find in Windows PCs. I was talking about the new mobile HTML5 site, any idea?

Even my laptop's Google Chrome browser is still using the old Faccebook touch, maybe Facebook just haven't updated the server for Malaysia. It's like the Hotmail improvement, it's not immediate but will roll out gradually.

I don't think Microsoft will be able to release something as sophisticated as that in the next 2-3 years.

Yeah Birdsong live tile and notifications are not working for me. Waited for over 24hours already, guess it's safe to say it doesn't work at all?

QUOTE(blackjoker @ Oct 18 2011, 12:27 PM) Some bug I encountered with Mango:- 1) Keyboard. In the middle of typing, the keyboard disappear. 2) Bing. I can only see 2 icons (Vison & Voice). Based on some screen capture, I can see 4 icons. 3) Battery. Charged my phone for more than an hour but the bar remained stagnant. Reboot my phone and it still show the same. Shut-down phone, remove battery and boot-up again. Battery bar show almost complete. WhatsApp bug:- 1) When I tapped a contact under Chats, it tend to hang and kick you out to Home screen. 2nd attempt normally works. I'm using HD2 Mango RTM 7720.68. I encounter none of the problems you said, except for the WhatsApp which I never use...

I haven't found a single twitter app that gives mention notifications/live tile fast enough, so I just go for the one that's the fastest and also able to mention multiple people once I hit reply.
I'm using Birdsong.

Anybody using the facebook Chat integration in Mango? Got notice that quite often your friend will suddenly go offline and the only way to fix it is if your friend send you another message, then he will be magically online back?

Focus S is nice.. but it will be nicer if it sticks closer to SGSII's design, I prefer that design.
Anyway, Nokia will definitely have a better design than whatever Samsung or HTC. Can't wait!

Can use FB in IE9... but it's not touch friendly and it's ugly as hell. I really hope FB app will be updated to be on par with Android and iOS.
The problem with FB app is that, it is developed by Microsoft, not FB itself. This is the same problem we face in Windows Mobile 6.x

So Nokia Lumia 800 will be sporting the N9's chasis, but with a smaller screen of 3.7" because they need to fit in the hardware buttons.
Lumia 700 will look cheap, so it will probably be cheap too. Around RM1.3k?
The N900 is not confirmed, people are saying it's a hoax. But if it's true, it should be the flagship of Nokia with a 4.3" screen with ClearBlack AMOLED display.
I was hoping for a Nokia Windows Phone with N9's chasis, but a little bit bigger to fit the gorgeous 3.9" screen with the hardware buttons lol. Not sure if I will like the 3.7" screen, cause I'm using the massive 4.3" screen of HD2 now.
