What did you expect from the spec? I expected faster shutter and higher ISO  unsure.gif
*
I'm expecting something similar with D700, new sensor with higher ISO performance (slightly higher MP say about 16-18MP), similar fps (about 8fps), improved AF system (more cross?).

But this one shows like its a 5Dmk2 type of FF body... high MP, a little slower on the fps type. Not sure how is the ISO performance... and that much pixels --> you need real good lens to resolve the details.

well, if you want faster FPS, you have to go for the lower MP camera.
look at the D3s and D3x cameras...

your choice of camera will not be the D800 (if 36MP is right)
you choice will be the D4 (which is for the sport photographers during the olympic 2012 and european cup 2012)
*
Who knows if the new processor can handle 36MP at faster fps tongue.gif.

10MP, 60fps... 36MP at 8fps... maybe it is possible?

8fps, 14 bit uncompressed photo size is easily close to 70mb.

Its about 24mb for D700's 12MP sensor already :S.

halo, anyone here using 24-120 F4 VR? it cost Rm3800, worth for it?

i using D700, considering a standard zoom lens for daily use....
any suggestion?
*
24-70 laugh.gif That's what I would choose if I were looking for a standard zoom.

I doubt you will get good bargains at KLPF, maybe for accessories but definitely not for those gears.

Side note, sensor cleaning anyone has experience? PKNS how long do they take?

celciuz sifoo,
would u recommend 50mm f1.8g or flashgun as the first buy?

or should i keep collecting until able to buy flashgun first? i am currently taking photography courses this semester and the would be a portrait assignment coming around the corner.

the current budget were rm700.. or maybe should i get a decent bag first? the current bag were capalang bag = =
*
No sifu la...

I would go for flashgun, and then the 50mm f/1.8G.

Bag don't improve your image quality nor help you in shooting don't worry about that so much for now.

anywayz, celciuz.. wanna ask hor.. just now you recommend flashgun, then what flashgun would you recommend usually?
*
So far during Sat and Sun, any time also got parking at Gardens... not an issue. Got once I arrived MV at 3PM on Sunday, had some event there... also got parking (this time parked at MV).

Depends on your budget, stick to Nikon. SB900 or SB700.

went to digicolor and ask for step up rings they said they dunno what it is.

saw some stalls selling lexar and wanted to know what x200 speed is in terms of mb/s, they look at me and said it's 200 times faster than normal wan loh.

doh.gif
*
200x if not mistaken is 30MB/s.
