Hi,my phone is on 4.3.1 is it possible to upgrade to 4.3.3?

After going through the posts, this is my understanding if I wanna upgrade my jb 4.1 to 4.3.3.
1. Backup my iphone4 through itunes
2. Restore to 4.3.3
3. Save shsh using tinyumbrella
4. JB using jailbreakme.com

Unless I misunderstand the previous posts, do i get it all correct?
Fyi, I didnt save SHSH on my 4.1 before jb my current phone. Was using Greensnow to jb.

If you want to upgrade to 4.3.3 which Apple no longer signs, this is the step you need to do and the thing you need to have, without which you will not be able to upgrade

1. 4.3.3 SHSH - If you do not have the SHSH for your iPhone. STOP. No need to proceed, the only firmware you can upgrade to is 4.3.5
2. If you do have the SHSH, follow the guide from iClarified - How to Downgrade/Upgrade/Restore to a Firmware version that Apple no Longer Signs

Unlucky me, I only got SHSH for 4.1, and 4.2.1.
Guess I got to wait till ios5 then. BTW - thx azraeil

Wait for ios5 or jump to 421, for now start backing new shsh everytime new ios release.

Saving shsh dont need your phone to be in new ios.

Use tiny umbrella for new ios435 shsh and gm5 shsh

3gs and ip4 also supported.

Dont need upgrade 433.

u mean SHSH?
u need to use Tiny Umbrella (TU) to check whether ur SHSH is saved, cydia wont tell ur SHSH already saved or not..
download TU here

I tried with the latest tiny umbrella to save SHSH, but it seems that I dont have for ios435 too.

Am I suppose to have SHSH for ios435?

Not forgetting, tiny umbrella is not able to save SHSH for ios5 too

Has anyone tried the latest tethered jailbreak by redsn0w for iOS5 GM? I don't know if I should jailbreak because ios 5 itself has a few unsupported apps, and might become worse after I jailbreak it.

cydia can tell that ur SHSH for certain version was saved. as in opjust case, means his 4.3.3, 4.3.4, and 4.3.5 were saved in saurik's server.

in order for me to have 4.3.3 after I hv restored

@optjust, use TinyUmbrella and go to the Advance Tab and check teh box that saya "Requests SHSH from Cydia".

TinyUmbrella will then retrieve the SHSH from Cydia as yours have been saved in Cydia

How to jailbreak 4.3.5 ?

Go to Advance Tabs in TU and untick SHSH from Cydia, to get latest SHSH from Apple.

Tick SHSH from Cydia if you have old SHSH stored in Cydia.

A tethered jailbreak for 4.3.5 can be done via redsn0w.

Yup. @conceitedapp already sold it to an unknown person. Means, its unsafe. Wait until jailbreaks.me ready.
For now, just stick to the redsn0w etc

Now better dont use, also dont forget to do the pdf exploit patch 2 in cydia.
