Hey dude, its non related facts from saurik's with your question. Saurik is saying whenever you upgrade to 4.3.4 / 4.3.5 they would not be a perfect jailbreak solution for this. Nevertheless, there is no jailbreak yet for IOS5. Since you don't bother about jailbreaking and etc, just proceed to IOS5 when its available.

I'm doing upgrade to 4.3.3 , i thought only if i downgrade i need shsh.. therefore i dont have..
At the end, after tried many times.. I succesfuly upgraded to 4.3.5 instead.
So no JB me.. but i hardly use jb apps anyway..

You can't upgrade to XXX if you dont have SHSH saved for XXX ...

You need to have your SHSH if you want to DOWNGRADE, RESTORE, UPGRADE to a firmware version that Apple NO LONGER SIGNS.

Apple is signing 4.3.5 ONLY at the moment. Once iOS 5 is out on October 12th, you will have a couple of days before Apple stops signing that. So for those who require at least a tethered Jailbreak with 4.3.5, make sure you save your SHSH using TinyUmbrella.

Btw how to check whether the shsh is save? I click save n run,but it doesn't come out anything on the screen

All information you needed available here. Apparently, you can save only 4.3.5 shsh. No problem saving a tethered JB device.

My phone was previously jailbroken with redsnow, does it automatic save shsh somewhere?
I was from jailbroken 4.2.1 , straight shift restore with 4.3.3 and it failed terribly.

I tried using tiny umbrella.. Kick out of DFU mode, but it will goes back DFU mode after reboot.
No choice , then tried using itunes auto update to 4.3.5.
Now stuck with non jb
I'll probably wait 5.0 then jb

@dopp. if you jailbreak it on 4.2.1 using redsn0w and you opened Cydia after the jailbreaking process, usually (not always) Cydia will automatically save your SHSH. I would rather prefer to just use TinyUmbrella and save a copy of the SHSH locally. So if any new firmware is released, I just run TinyUmbrella and get my SHSH directly from Apple. So even if I'm on 4.2.1, I have SHSH for 4.3, 4.3.1, 4.3.2, 4.3.3, 4.3.4, 4.3.5

No need to depend on someone else to save it for me coz if they don't do it automatically, there is no one else to blame.

4.3.3 and 4.3.5..which ios is better for JB..

4.3.3 already has untethered JB, u can only use the easiest JB tool jailbreakme.com to JB ur phone...
4.3.5 required tethered JB so far,can use tethered redsnow to JB, it means that u need to connect to ur pc to JB again if u reboot ur phone

so judging from above, u should know which one is better right?

I am using ip4 4.3.3 & JB'd using jailbreakme.com.. now I think my phone become lag n always run out of memory.. my memory status always below 100mb..I want to restore back my phone and start over..

1) if i restored using itunes will it back to 4.33?

if normal restore, it will not revert to 4.3.3, it will restore to current 4.3.5..
so try to shift+restore by pointing the 4.3.3 ipsw firmware during your restore in itunes..
since you already JBed ur phone, so i believe ur SHSH already saved...

u can download the 4.3.3 firmware here

before that use tiny umbrella to check if u have 4.3.3 SHSH saved.

you need to use tiny umbrella TSS server to restore ur 4.3.3
