Manual installation always works for me, I do the same thing where I write down all the Cydia apps I have and I install those things again one by one. Pkgbackup is crap. Never worked for me. What a waste of money. Some people say it works perfectly for them, it doesn't for me (I suspect there are incompatibilities somewhere)

I believe all the Cydia settings falls under "Other" in your iPhone and when you backed it up, the settings are also saved (just like the game saves, or any of the app settings)

I know that whenever I do a restore, all my PocketMoney files (which is super important to me) are also restored once the apps is re-installed (if the re-sync does not install it properly) so the iPhone saved those data somewhere and when the appropriate apps or tweaks is installed, it is automatically connected back.

Guys not sure this is something new to you all or I'm slowpoke. Just install dreamboard from Cydia. It's super duper cool. Changing ur theme can never as simple as that. Have Mac OS X Lion theme as well.

Please remove your post content in post #26 as the jailbroken apps we all are talking about is different from what you're referring. Your post is going to violate the rules in LYN. The jailbroken apps we ppl here are talking about is the one installed in Cydia, mostly tweaks or customizations for iPhone.

Those theme need to pay.... Default comes with HTC theme. Having problem in downloading the theme using iFile maybe I'm not pro enough. Will try again later as last night I just okay awhile only. About the draining battery issue not sure yet. But you can change ur theme with just I touch. Very fast and simple. Highly recommended if anyone like to play with theme.

Finally I know why I can't add any theme.

I believe you have to pay for dreamboard while winterboard is free.

Guys, please keep the thread clean. As mentioned in the 1st Post, No Piracy Discussion is allowed. We jailbreak to free our iPhone to allow us to do all these great things like SBSettings and the themes customisation, some of us have other things in mind and those are better kept to yourselves.
