just an update, my brother in law just bought his 50U30K this week which he fortunately found at a shop in Jinjang, Kepong for 2.7K. ^^ not sure if still got stock or not though,

No one here is interested to know you have bought a plasma TV (yeah big deal blah blah blah) but more about how much and from which shop you got it.
Please be specific, otherwise your post is useless.

I owned TH-P42X30K
Yesterday I copy out .avi .mp4 and .mkv
For .mkv it seems doest support the format file. Avi format yes no problemo but with .mp4 certain file the video appear but there is no sound at all. Tried 3 .mp3 movie only 1 movie got sound. Any reason why?

So far, my Panny 50U30K can [lay avi, mp4 and mkv. But for mkv, mp One piece anime can't play well. Lagging all time. But for me that's okay because I already have HD media player.
