QUOTE(Keng @ Oct 17 2011, 10:49 AM) Got my THP50U30K liao, performing the break-in now. Just curious if anyone of you leave it running for 24h continuously? I ran it for 5h the 1st time & 13h the 2nd time. Still pretty long way to go for me i guess :S How is it when watching non-HD Astro channels? Cheers.

QUOTE(Keng @ Oct 17 2011, 12:08 PM) I haven't watch anything on it yet other than the break-in slides. I'll be subscribing to IPTV, so i hope it'll be as good as what Astro claimed that it should. What about normal over-the-air TV channel? Is it "watchable"? Am asking coz my friend told me that his 46" Sharp AQUOS LED is not as good (a bit blur due to the large screen size?) as CRT TV when viewing normal TV. So just wondering if the Panasonic 50" is better. Thanks.

QUOTE(ezee123 @ Nov 23 2011, 12:23 PM) Saw this P50U30K in Jusco Bukit Tinggi Klang today, selling 4499. Anyone know where I can get this TV cheaper? This model was being sold at around RM2700 a month back, but seems that its an obsolete model (new model coming?) as most dealers not having stock now.

QUOTE(sylviaa @ Dec 13 2011, 10:49 AM) but for samsung plasma now the price difference is not that big anymore. a 50" FHD 3d model PS51D550 is selling at 3000 vs non 3d model which is series 4 plasma selling at 2500. so only RM500 difference between 3d and non 3d model for samsung. Those considering to buy TH50U30k can in fact consider to go for samsung PS51D550, like me. I have been wanting to get the 50U30K but seems that I can't find a place that has stock for it. Thanks for your recommendation, am going to get the PS51D550, as its MUCH MUCH more slimmer than the U30K. Please could you let us know where to buy at RM3,000? Is this price commonly available?

In future, for those who are posting about their purchase, please include price and name of shop.
No one here is interested to know you have bought a plasma TV (yeah big deal blah blah blah) but more about how much and from which shop you got it.
Please be specific, otherwise your post is useless.

QUOTE(eye @ Sep 2 2012, 10:28 AM) actually, u don't need a separate keyboard & mouse, most new tvs have ios and android apps that replace all these : viera remoteThanks for the comment, but I do want to know if it can be used with a keyboard and mouse.

Re ST50 quality problem - does it affect majority of the units? Sounds like Panasonic is having a QC issue....

QUOTE(SteadyPana @ Oct 14 2012, 11:14 PM) Tried on USD HDD But via thumb drive not so sure. I think you have a pretty huge in size of thumb drive - 32GB or 64GB ?? Thanks for the reply. Just trying to find out if the TV can support play back 3D movies using its built-in media player via USB. Any idea if there is any difference compared to using external 3D media player?

QUOTE(Kerry1136 @ Oct 17 2012, 11:42 PM) Hi peeps, just got my 50ST50K As I've been reading in the forums, certain "best practice" or I should say calibration is required the moment you get the unit....what are the things required to do or check whether its faulty the moment got the unit? It'd be good to check the usage time (how long has the TV been switched on and how many times) to ensure its not a demo/used unit. I don''t know how, can someone post how to check this?
