consult the shop that you buy from.. they will provide service for u to claim warranty

Hello guys.. Been using ps3 for several years now and this my 2nd one after the old one ylod. This time the problem is different. The fcuking display problem!! I already try restart method by holding power button and plug in av cables and i got my display back. But the problem is when detected hdmi cable and try to swith display, nothing happen. My tv wont detect my ps3 hdmi display. In the meantime, my lan port also problem. No green internet light and this i weird!! Two problem in 1 time!! To summarize;
1) ps3 cannot display hdmi but no prob display av
2) lan port not working at the same time
Already check all my cables and my tv port with my xbox no problem at all! Last few days i dun have this prob when i turn on my ps3.
So guys, any suggestion?

If you want MY set better buy from Sony centre coz if ur console got problem then u can easily redirected there.

While for SG set well there a lot of sellers here in Lowyat that sell them and they're a bit cheaper but if got problem need to refer back to their SG hq.

the price are fixed by sony .. all standard price for sony centre / sony style .. usually MY set will be slightly higher then other imported PS3 sets

most people go for MY set because of the warranty by Sony Malaysia , but from my opinion buying imported PS3 set also not a problem to buyers , since most of gameshop got a complete replacement parts for it .. of course you need to pay for it .. unless no replacement parts then it will be another story

plus most gameshop will send for warranty claim to those who bought from them , just pay minimal fees .. just wait until your console back at their shop , usually it will take around 1 or 2 weeks time

like me i prefer US consoles so.. i cant complaint bout hassle of warranty..

as long as spare parts available in the market , it should be no problem ( for imported ps3 sets )

usually what i do us turn on ps3 , go to game n play
which is i set auto login psn.

but sometime i cant connect to psn .even sign out sign in again cannot .

the only way to sign in again was to turn off and on the ps3 again.

not a big problem but its annoying n wasting time .

you can go to SEN website, login with ur psnid+password... then you can deactivate the account on that system
