QUOTE(b3nji23 @ Sep 27 2011, 05:12 PM) I encountered the same issue... the solution for now is to untick the Steelseries Engine startup service under "msconfig" Thanks for the tip dude, already submitted a ticket to SS. See how their engineers fix this one Meanwhile here's mine with a competitor's mouse pad

Thanks for submitting the ticket mate Let's hope SS releases a new driver/firmware update to sensei soon That's a sharp looking sensei setup you got there dude EDIT: Seems like there will be a new driver software release in 1-2 weeks time for sensei according to this forumer http://www.overclock.net/15082312-post371.htmlThis post has been edited by b3nji23: Sep 27 2011, 09:47 PM

Heh thanks, the Megasoma has served me well. Sensei feels pretty good on it, not too slippery. ExactLift set at 14, anything more than that it starts jumping during "lift off" How about you guys?

QUOTE(sai86 @ Sep 28 2011, 03:10 PM) Woot....almost times to grab an Ikari. btw, wta the different between optical and laser. Nth much different except the dpi right? or laser is able to perform on any surface? You get better precision with dpi set to almost max on Laser and sensitivity lowest in games/windows. But laser is not as cloth surface friendly as optical. Xai and G500 share the same sensor and sometimes suffer from negative acceleration. My G500 on cloth surface with dpi set to max has no negative acceleration issue

The laser ikari surface is matt finish? and not like ikari optical is plastic finish? QUOTE The mouse had a tendency to jump quite far when placing it back on the surface after lifting it. This however seems to be the case with the SX surface only. may i know what the above phrase means? for ikari laser..... This post has been edited by sai86: Sep 28 2011, 03:47 PM

Now what's left is the driver update from SS Cool here what support had to say: QUOTE We're aware of this issue and have fixed this in the upcoming version of SteelSeries Engine which will be coming in approximately 1-2 weeks.
In the meanwhile, the workaround is to rename the profile you are currently using to be first alphabetically. In example, rename it to Aa or Ab. No wonder it keeps going to that damn Aion profile!!!

If there is one minor problem I have with the Ikari Laser, is that once I got the Xai and kept it in storage for a while, the rubber surface became all sticky.

Alex, I'd blame the heat for that. My Ikari Laser is still fine inside the box for like 6-7 months untouched. Lol
